Emanuel
Good afternoon everyone! Hope you are excited for our drive tomorrow afternoon. If you cannot join the drive please remove yourself from the RSVP soonest. We have a full convoy with 5 on the wait list at present. I'll post the convoy order tomorrow morning after any updates to the RSVP have occurred and after deciding on how many to let in from the wait list. Hopefully we'll be able to accommodate everyone. 1 1
Emanuel
Good morning. Adding the 3 wait listed drivers now. @Ash S. @RicMart @Vipin M. The RSVP is closed. If you cannot go this afternoon, kindly leave me a message here on the Forum and remove yourself from the RSVP. Convoy order will be posted later this morning. When deflating today, leave about 4-5 psi more than you usually deflate to for HT and AT tires. This is because of the rain last night and more recently will have compacted the sand making it harder and more prone to sidewall pressure and increasing the risk of pop-outs, which we like to avoid if possible. Another note for foreplaning, if it is raining when we are getting ready, just get into your car and wait. Turn on your radio to channel 4 and we will have the briefing over the radio.

Jason M
@Emanuel thanks as always for a great drive. I always learn something from you! Today it was the encouragement to change the line slightly as a fewbie. It was the first time I started considering how to handle a section of sand based on my line instead of just slamming the gas. @J-P L watching you get us all unstuck is such a great learning experience. An awesome drive, and exactly what I needed to start the weekend!
