ac is loosing its cool

every summer the AC looses its cooling capacity and i need to get the ac gas refilled

is there a permanent solution to this

This time before AC gas top up, check the AC gas leak by getting the pressure testing of AC lines and with UV light. Once that minor leak s identified repair it and refill the gas and it will be good forever.

AC gas is not consumable and shud stay within idea range quantity no matter of winter or summer.

If still after gas AC cooling isnt enough and it cools good while on highway, then it must be something else like compressor is getting weak or AC filter is choked or blower is loosing power.
