Do you find it annoying when you have to search the parking lot back and forth for a free parking space? Well RTA has an excellent solution to your problem. Introducing the Parking Reservation app which was showcased at the 38th Gitex Technology Week on Sunday. This app will allow you to reserve a parking space in advance at a cost of AED 10 per hour while every additional hour will also cost AED 10. The payment can be done through the debit or credit card. Currently, the app can be used to reserve a parking spot in only two areas including Dubai Marina and Dubai Media City but more areas will be added soon. The app is available on Android devices right now but will soon be launched on iOS-powered devices as well. Do you think this app will be useful for reserving a parking spot in Dubai? Do it. I drove a swb turbo diesel Colorado (European model) for a while and it was amazing. Best turning circle of any 4x4 I’ve ever driven. Never had any problems other than a shitty mechanic pouring stopleak into the cooling system which meant changing the radiator, cylinder head and heater matrix. Also had to weld the chassis due to salt infested roads but that will never happen here.

@Jeh I’ve seen those before. It was a similar shape but different colour and the wheels were exposed. I’ll take a guess and say it was a pod heading to sustainable city but I can’t find any information on it anywhere. For everyone else,

I totally agree...in JLT parking is AED 4 per hour...does hurt a lot

if you don't use od off then the transmission will engage the last gear where possible saving you some milliliters of fuel and the engine run cool as usually the desert driving requires WOT's .you usually drive in 1st 2nd and 3rd mostly personally i keep it dont use it as in many places you might have seen me crossing the some of the dunes in pretty low speed (people behind me have a bit of hard time because of this) in most cars these buttons do not completely disable the nanny systems until you kill the power to it and to reverse that some have to just remove the battery wire and some have to do it by scan tool and or complete the drive cycles to re enable those and in some care these systems are interconnected you kill one you kill all...

You think? Somehow I don't think they will understand how our cars work, and I'm pretty sure not many of us will believe that they have really mastered the art of deep space travel at several multiples of the speed of light- or understand how they do it. Then again, not many of us understand how some of our cars work, either; especially Jeeps and Land Rovers...
