Since living in the UAE and meeting so many people from different nationalities i have been on a quest to find out which music, band, or songs from your home-country you'd love to introduce to people that live here that don't know much about your country. The 2006 Pajero 3 door doesnt have the issue of sand cooping, so you can do without getting any skid plate done. Regarding the air compressor, you can get them in Dragon mart. It would cost you between AED 230 - 350 depending on whether its one or two pistons. Else, if you want a better quality you can go for the air compressor's from Ace Hardware. They would cost you approx AED 550 and above. For offroading, I suggest you to join the Carnity Offroad Club, where you would start by learning the basics of offroading in a safe environment. We have an all level drive coming up this Friday afternoon. If you feel upto it you are most welcome to join.

Thanks @Frederic Drive wise. Im a safe driver, maintenance, i follow schedule as recommended. Tire Pressure as my prado manual it is 29 PSI front and 32 PSI rear. But i have increased to 32 PSI on all 5 (Including spare tire). Shall i increase it to 35 PSI? will it be safe? to increase from the recommended level? Also my spare tire is the one came with new car. it is 2015 manufactured unused/not even cover was removed. Is it safe to keep it as spare tire or better to change? My driving pattern is quite safe(I may call it over relaxed 😂 ). If speed is 80 kmph my cruising speed will be around 75 kmph.

13l is quite normal for a 4.0 V6. My 3.8 Pajero is guzzling around 14l per 100 km. To save a bit on fuel you can: 1) Drive smart: By "reading" the traffic properly you can anticipate and react smoothly. I see so many people revving up like crazy, and then breaking again 100 meters further on the speed bump. 2) Use Cruise Control whenever possible. 3) Keep your tyres properly inflated. 35psi and have a weekly check at the petrol pump or with your gauge if you have one. 4) Do not skip on proper maintenance. Get injectors cleaned and/or replaced whenever advised by your workshop.

Hello Again so after purchasing my 3 door 2006 Pajero, I found a garage which i am happy with to do some works (Timing belt change, disk pads, brake skimming, major service). The next step is to learn from everyone about dos and donts for owning a Pajero, general advice etc. For example I have a list of things to do already: 1. Buy a 12v compressor 2. Buy a decent FM/bluetooth trabsmitter 3. Drill into my top glove box which is locked! If anyone can suggest some accessories to buy, comment on the above items for recommendations, and just general tips and tricks for owning a 3 door Pajero. I also which to take the car off-road, even if it is just mildly, for a bit of fun and practice. Any advice regarding this would also be great. Regards Lewis Cocks

If your spare Tyre is located below the vehicle it's a single tank. If it's on the rear door it's a double tank

Periodically check your spare Tyre. Recently in one of my cars I had a flat and when I checked the spare Tyre (which had not been used for the last 10 years), I realised that was flat as well. 😋

If your total exceeds 60$ then the order usually comes within a week or 10 days. If normal delivery it doesn't take more than 2 weeks. But you need to give a PO Box number. They dont deliver to home. So you can give your office po box. I have ordered many items. Many times if the order was damaged i got the refund as well. They are very particular about the positive reviews of customers.

32psi should be fine. Don’t worry about your spare tyre. The rubber might degrade a bit over time but if covered properly it will last longer.

And if you have the patience drive at 90-100 km per hour. You will get really good mileage. On my Pajero 3.8 LWB, I get a mileage of 10.5 - 11 litre per 100 km when I drive in a relaxed manner

Yes, Motion-X is fantastic. I also installed the "Ardhi" App lately, but haven't explored the functionalities yet and it looks pretty quiet on the feed page.

I cant be disagree more. My Cherokee was hitting 160 without getting any problem. I didint push more than that. But i believe it might go over that. I was the king of the left line with patrol and cruiser guys.

Congrats on your new ride, you made a good choice over a Pajero (from another topic) from comfort, luxury, power, and resale aspect by spending extra cash. Tire pressure generally should be between 30-35 PSI, 2-3 PSI more than the door sill is acceptable, as far you keep all 4 tires on the same pressure. I inflate all my cars at 35 PSI and check once a month, that gives the room to drop them to 30 PSI in a month's time. For accessories, you can find plenty in naif or in Sharjah tire market next to Sahara center, before the BMW road.
