  1. You are most welcome and it was nice meeting you as well. Looking forward to seeing you starting your new offroad life with new 4x4 following the offroad structure from newbie level. That will be safe and more enjoyable for you and your 4x4, to test its limits and its capabilities with slow and steady pace.

  3. It's just a aluminum pipe guess you could get it welded and be back on your way If the cooler is leaking then you need sample so you can match and get it...

  4. Yes you are right for badly balanced wheel, but I doubt mildly unbalanced wheel. Due to lazy labour or during his last Oman trip he must have lost some little balancing weight causing all this. For businesses you can filter as per your Emirates or neighbouring Emirates to narrow down the results. Also for such small job you can go to any good tire shop near you, just make sure you stand on their head to watch 0 and 0 on both sides. That's it.

  5. I won’t recommend my garage because it’s illegal and Carnity will hunt me down and kill me but check out the garages section on here https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-services/general-service-workshopI Check the garages ratings. It’s more reliable than google where people only tend to post bad reviews when they’re in a bad mood

  6. Did somebody say red horse? I’m in! BMW road is ok to find stuff but it’s a mess. The road sucks, potholes will ruin your car, and there’s no traffic discipline. You spend most of your time watching out for people scooting about randomly on mopeds. You have to deal with beggars and people trying to sell you peanuts at every junction. Saja’a Is a much nicer experience.

  7. I agree with the rest of you guys that wheel balancing could cause a vibration but the vibration would be constant, not just on acceleration. The fact that the car only does it when accelerating tells me that the engine is hesitating under load, probably due to bad spark plugs or weak coils. This is just my opinion though, judging from what I’ve read. I may or may not be wrong. I can’t properly diagnose a car that isn’t with me, I can just make educated guesses on the information supplied. You have already replace the engine and transmission mounts so that’s ruled out. The person that told you to do that isn’t a professional mechanic. Professionals fix the problem first time, not guess and swap parts at the customers expense and hope the problem goes away. You need to find a proper technician in a proper garage. All any of us can do here is offer educated guesses.

  8. Your best bet would be to have a drive around Saja’a Scrap area Al Saja'a Industrial Suburb Sharjah https://goo.gl/maps/qWo35EYbcYJkuvHo9 All the shops are nicely laid out and they all have signs outside and you can probably check the whole area out in an hour. Im going there next week but it will probably be Monday/Tuesday. If you don’t get sorted in the meantime let me know and I’ll check when I’m there.

  10. Did look into the welding option but it broke at the point where it locks into the cooler and it's to small to weld there.

  11. Near my hometown in Belgium there was a massive fog pile-up incident in 1996 that caused 200 cars to crash into each other and took the lives of 10 people, with 56 heavily wounded and 30 light wounded. Abu-Dhabi in 2008 had similar accident where 8 people died and also 200 cars were involved. Main reason was that there was a lake next to the highway and the fog over that lake caused a massive fog-wall that morning only on that specific area. Due to the crashes, fire started and people got killed purely from not being able to escape the fire. I still remember this clearly and i hope to never see it again. Please drive safe whenever fog sets up and use fog lights if possible. NEVER use the hazard lights. Adjust your speed until you can ensure that you have sufficient visbility and time to react.
