I recently passed my Xterra with the metal bumper and offroad lights and I thought i would share my experience so that others with modifications/considering modifications may learn from the same. I stuck masking tape around my offroad lights and I attached rubber pads on my metal bumper which made the truck compliant enough for passing. So people with similar modifications could try these steps.

  2. Love the masking tape idea. Simply GENIUS. Many including myself have got the custom cover for lights made for passing purposes only.

  5. Totally agree with Rahimdad advise, as I was about to advise the same and also some safe sleeping seat or option in car. So you can leave them sleeping once they are tired, slightly away from music and well ventilated.

  7. Last call for 2019... Since the weather got cooler, let’s plan an afternoon and fast paced drive through the amazing dunes of Sweihan desert. This area offers plenty of opportunity to test your off-road skills and it might be quite challenging. That’s why this drive is only for Fewbie+ (at least 3-4 drives at Fewbie Level) and above. Plan is to start at 1 PM and drive till sunset. Level : Fewbie+ and above When: 27 December 2019 Meeting time: 1:00 PM, convoy will move at sharp 1:15 PM Where: ADNOC service station Naheel GPSCoordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/ZecvshnuzTN2 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of snacks, plenty of water - whatever you like with little extra to share, water, liquids, smiles, stories, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 5:30 PM Please RSVP the below calendar event

  10. Since I stuck the rubber pads, it was fine. They did mention in the test results however that the front bumper is modified.

  12. thanks @Gaurav bhai, I literally stuck this just minutes before i got to the passing center and removed it after the passing because it looks quite odd on the roads 😂
