Hi everyone. Just to introduce myself as a new member. Father of Chloe and Harvey, in Dubai for 8 years now and living in Mira for the past 2. Off -roading is a relatively new part of our lives, just 6 months playing in the sand. It's the hobby we never knew was missing. I have been going out regularly, making mistakes and learning the hard way. Very much looking forward to meeting you all and learning from your experience and gaining confidence in a group. If you are interested in DIY, you can buy a suction mount and a flag pole from dragon mart for ~60 aed and fix it.

Hi all!!! I am Nacho, another new member of the group. In my case I'm quite new to Dubai and to the dessert, my only experience is thinking about it!! There are not many desserts where I'm from in Spain. I have a 2018 jeep wrangler JKU but no experience so I'm really happy to join this group and learn from all of you! Hi Jorge, These Carnity spare radios are not for sale as we need them now on the busy off-road season. Please have a look at the Advice section where I wrote a list of recommended models available in dragon mart. (Crony MT777, Baofeng UV5R) For the flag the AOR flag is a very good option. Some Dragon Mart shops sell flags too, or a fishing pole properly mounted with a flag on it also works great.

Hi @Jorge Stepniak Felippe. For flag you have to buy the detachable AOR one (around 350 AED including the suction cup) or go for some garage to fix a socket and use a fishing rod for the flag . I checked and went in for the AOR because it is detachable , good quality and you dont have to do anything with the body. Available on amazon and at Ramy automotive Best wishes

We will teach you how to drive offroad safely and learn the best offroad driving and recovery techniques. If you have already driven in sand before then you can learn more from experts having decades of offroading experience in the UAE. This area offers a good mix of playable long set of dunes and broad ridge to test your off-road control. Can my vehicle do this ?
