Al hamdu lillah my car issue happened at meeting point and not during the drive. Car is fixed, found the petrol pump one of the sockets burned. Loo forward to see you again guys in sand. A fantastic drive to start the long weekend. I didn't have any time to do anything else other than eat... sleep... drive... and repeat... Thank you @M.Seidam for scheduling this excellent and exhilarating drive. It was great to meet @Sunil Mathew, @Ahmad Nerat, @Senthil Kumar, @Pacific and @Cha. It was so fast and furious I had to actually wonder at what level we were supposed to be driving. Few pics in the gallery. Thank you all for the drive. See you soon.

😅 with the bunch of such experienced drivers and seeing the good response of @Ahmad Neratwho performed no less than the others and on top a brilliant second lead whom I had the trust to correct my foot slips I couldn’t resist at all 😄

@Davie Chasethank you for a wonderful drive, which I rather enjoyed especially after passing the first technical and bushy area! Afterwhich, the pace picked up and it was full of action. You took on the challenge of the lead, unprepared, and turned it into a fun day for all of us.! I am sure Hisham would have rather enjoyed the action, who we unfortunately missed today due to car trouble. But he knew he put us in good hands. 👍 What a great team of superb drivers, And excellent support by @Benjamin who fixed a popout in amazing speed. Was a fantastic drive! @Davie Chase appreciate you stepping in (wouldn’t have wanted to be in your position) but you rose to the challenge like a champion! And it was a great drive, especially for my first IM 😊 great mix of terrain and some great pace! My favourite bit 😎😎 looking forward to following you more in the future on IM drives, rest of support team were great too and everyone drove amazingly see you on the next one chaps!

Great drive as usual @M.Seidam doc...always like your night and twilight drives .. Big Red is definitely an area where if we dont move in tandem with the lead, the drive experience goes multiple notches down...We as a convoy definitely found our rhythm yesterday and behaved as a single unit throughout the drive...good to drive with all of you @Looper @Ahmad Nerat @Senthil Kumar @Pacific and @Cha.. @M.Seidam thx for organising the drive. What a amazing way to start a weekend. I really enjoyed every second of it. Additionally, having experienced drivers around, it gave me more confident to keep up with u guys.. We need more like this drive 👌.. Good morning, @Looper! I'm experiencing some difficulties with my car's starting, and I suspect it's due to a battery issue. Unfortunately, this means I won't be able to make the drive today.

@Frederic yes definitely a tad nerve racking but fun just the same, having been on the advisor drive the day before following @Hisham Masaad made a huge difference to the confidence levels would not be here or able to lead with confidence without the continued support from all the trip leads, crew, support team members and of course the fantastic club members @Carnity is truly a fantastic club which is a pleasure and honor to be a part of.

Every offroad convoy has to follow these rules to keep moving the whole convoy safely at all times: Follow the car in front of you all the time. And also follow the path taken by that car (STRICTLY), until you learn to lead. As an occasional exception, if you see the car in front of you struggled or churn up the path, it is advisable to drive little left or right and then follow the same path again. Keep 5-10 cars distance all the time. Keeping it too close you will risk an accident and keeping it too long, you will lose the path. If you cannot see the car behind you, please stop and notify on the radio so that the leader can stop until they all catch up. Stick to your convoy numbering at all times, if changed due to some situation fall back to the same order as soon as you can but safely. If convoy is not moving due to some stuck / refusal, please be patient and stay safe at your designated position. No playing, side sloping or any breaking the convoy activities will not be tolerated. Radio communication is PRIME, listen and respond to it promptly all the time. Convoy positions Leader: The first car who leads the drive and everyone has to follow the leader instructions precisely with respect. Second lead: The second car in a convoy, who drives behind the leader and avoid or fix any unforeseen situation as it may happen. Everyone in the convoy needs to follow the "second lead" path like a magnet - at all times. Sweep: One or two cars at end of the convoy to help and recover stuck vehicles or advise the correct path after the refusal. Flying Sweep: This car can be anywhere to do the sweep duties of recovering stuck vehicle or coordinating the convoy movement.
