The dunes in Liwa are amongst the biggest you’ll ever see. If you are used to your car by now and how it handles, that’s fine, but if you changed your vehicle or just installed a lift kit, the way the car behaves will be different and you will need be extra careful by not overestimating what yourself or your car can do.

Hej @Frederic yes, it was done by 2,5” including wheels offset:) unfortunately not tested yet, this season i am ups and downs, half of our office is on sick leave due to the flu. Comparison with a stock FJ:)

Nice! Be extra careful in Liwa terrain as the handling will be somewhat different

Expect a nice variety of terrains, some technical portions, open dunes, a few high climbs and beautiful desert views. As we are in the peak period, we might cross other convoys and for sure we will have cross tracks in most places, but there is lots of space to enjoy and have fun. We will publish the convoy order by the end of the afternoon. In the meantime, let me know if you changed your plans or cannot attend. Stay tuned !

Hello all, My vehicle is Pajero SWB 2007 model, black color, method bead lock rims, offroad AT tires, raised suspension, tow hooks front and rear, air compressor, deflator kit, shovel, soft shackles, ARB recovery strap, flag pole, 2x radios already programmed. Done a few newbie rides few yrs ago with Carnity group and during covid sold our offroad vehicle. Recently got into off-roading again. Looking forward to meeting everyone and refreshing and learning new skills and gaining better understanding of the Pajero in the dunes. I haven’t tried yet but believe I need to pull the relay(s) for the ASC/TC/ABS. Will test that this morning. Regards Gabriel

That’s correct

i am not in a physical state to lead a full day drive through one of the most exciting terrain… and it would not do any justice to this drive. Please note that we will be rescheduling this drive for another weekend to be announced later.

@rohit kumar, this is a FB+ drive, i see you are still a FB. You can join FB drive on Saturday. Don't worry about the long waitlist. it only means it will most likely be going to be a split convoy.

My car have some brake issues so I have to drop at this moment. The garage was not able to fix it in short notice. Have fun guys. will join another drive.

Guys m down with flu and fever..getting checked with the docs now.. hoping to get well by Friday morning… if I don’t feel better by that time, we may have to reschedule this drive on a later date… will keep you posted!
