Hi RizBajwa, Welcome to the club. For an old Pathfinder, you're best bet is just do some googling for an economical rear locker. For the money, I went a Powertrax No-Slip unit in my old Cherokee XJ. Fantastic little unit, cheap, and because it's an auto-locker, it's essentially 'always ready'. It only kicks in when one wheel starts to spin with no need to engage on my part. My theory was... when I need locking, it's already too late to engage it. And it directly swaps with the spider gears, so easy to pull back out and return to oem if needed. Any diff locks that require engaging are going to cost money and complications, as they require either an electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic system to support. It just depends on budget, as you say... ARB can be pricey. For workshops, I've used Icon 4x4 in Dubai. They work on anything (no joke), are dedicated to the offroading market, and their team is solid.

Was here last Sunday with loop. Incredible area with almost no tracks. Looong Sideys and great place for fewbies to become confident in crisscrossing and ridge riding. Could we perhaps also plan in heading slightly south east after entry to get a taste of the taller dunes there Davie? Regardless, it will be a great drive. See you all then.

Before the drive, please take a bit of time to check your car, remove any unnecessary or loose item from the passengers and trunk areas. Check your radio, make sure it is fully loaded, and programmed with the 10 Carnity radio frequencies. I will indicate the convoy order tomorrow, by the end of the afternoon. Hi everyone! Thank you all for your suggestions, After a year of waiting, I finally received the all new 2024 Jeep Rubicon Xtreme Recon from Trading Enterprise in April. I'm excited to go on drives with you all, but I'm not sure how many kilometers I should drive before going off-road. Any suggestions?
