@DP1011 thank you for this great initiative!! As off-roaders, it is our responsibility, even obligation to keep the desert better than we found it and today @Carnity did exactly this. I hope we have more purposeful drives as it adds the cherry on top to our hobby! I am sharing the link for the "Before Carnity" and "After Carnity" effects for everyone to see. I thought it is better to have a topic by itself rather than have the videos buried as part of the drive event, hopefully as a start of environmentally-friendly initiatives. Thanks to you DP, I feel i did something useful today and I am sure all the other drivers feel the same. Note: In the videos, you will notice we missed 3 pieces of litter in the area. I know it might have been just a drop in ocean but like me, am sure you all must have experienced a great sense of achievement and satisfaction. Everyone drove exceptionally well as we headed to Big red with literally zero refusals , which kept on making me scale the level up and timely exit. @Pramod B - You did miss the coffee and muffins, but trust me this was just the beginning of many to come , at regular intervals - hope you managed to get your tyre sorted ! @Lala G - Special thanks for going beyond and the true team sprit displayed by offering us to take the trash bags from everyone and putting them where they should have been. Today’s morning Nizwa / Pink Rock cleanup drive was surely memorable, marking @DP1011's 150th drive celebration, a milestone worthy of applause. 👏 What made it even more special was the decision to combine it with a desert cleanup drive, showing @DP1011 commitment not only to safe offroading but also to preserving our beautiful landscape. The morning started with thick fog, which quickly lifted. Sadly, @Pramod B faced a popout early on, and while he had to make the difficult call to exit because he would soon be have FOMO missing out on DP1011’s coffee and delicious muffins. 😁 @Emanuel thanks for joining us dear, I came after the whole summer and it was good to see you. As we cleared up the desert, the variety of garbage left by careless visitors was surprising and sometimes, amusing in its randomness. It’s unbelievable what people leave behind. I had to leave early to keep a commitment with my kid, but I hope the rest of the team enjoyed a great drive afterward. Huge respect to Carnity Group and its members for organizing such meaningful drives. Here’s to more drives that combine the thrill of offroading with the satisfaction of giving back

Howdy, had this same sort of problem just recently after the spark plugs had been done. Had these same symptoms; ASC, traction control and engine light after driving for a few kms. Fuel economy was AWFUL. Had a very rough low Idle when pulled up at lights or just in park. Replaced maf sensor but didn’t solve the issue. Put the old maf back in and used the OBD2 to read if the maf was working fine (which it was). Also unplugging the maf made it run fine which is why I replaced it. But it wasn’t the problem. It ended up being a vacc hose on the filter attached to the right hand side of the intake. Plugged it back in and cleared the codes, ran fine. Just thought I’d better add even though this thread is 6 years old. Could be helpful to someone. Also was throwing random misfire code (P0300)

Great Drive today Team Navigators ! @Luke K P @Aser @Hugo @Imran Asghar thank you for your time and dedication for the Gaia practice. Driving was excellent today. We were focused on the waypoints, but we had excellent conditions, with virgin sand in some of the high locations prepared by Luke. (we cannot disclose the location here 🤫). Beautiful lines by all of you !

Hoping we repeat and expand this initiative into different locations. @DP1011 there is an area in Qudra desert that is in need of help as well. Maybe we can consider a second drive in that area soon. There are a few small playing grounds there as well as a bonus .
