Dear Desert Drivers, thank you for joining me today. We had high level and great skills in the group, so we were able to make it an exciting drive for everyone ! Part 1 with these long ridges and beautiful views of the desert in the morning light was just amazing. We were able to keep a nice rolling flow. @Zulfikhar Naiyar, unfortunately, you missed the rest, but it was a wise decision to exit with your engine overheating. Part 2 was the real challenge of the day. Playing to climb that big slope was fun, but the real difficulties were inside the high dunes, with these maze of small bowls and pockets. Congratulations to the big cars drivers @Hani crest king @Mike M. @azad who were able to go through. Part 3 was a mix of technical and medium size dunes, with a lot of bushes. Still the crossings were challenging, and @azad bumpers kept scars. Finally we had a last stretch of easy rolling dunes to end up smoothly. TAKE NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN OFFROAD DRIVE. HIKE DESCRIPTION Hiking 🥾🥾is one of the most invigorating ways to stay fit, and for us off-roaders, the desert dunes are the perfect playground. We’ll kick off the adventure from the backside of the Last Exit Qudra parking, where we’ll leave our cars behind and venture into the peaceful lakes area and surrounding dunes. Expect to see wild gazelles, 🦌 a variety of birds 🐦, and the unique desert landscape unfolding before you.🌄 The hike will last about 90 minutes, covering roughly 7 kilometers—mixing stretches of solid ground with the challenge of walking on soft, shifting sand (perfect for building endurance). As we finish, we’ll pass by the small supermarket at the parking, where you can grab a refreshing drink and freshen up at the washrooms. It’s not just about getting your steps in—it's a chance to connect with nature, breathe in the crisp air, and burn those winter calories. Bring your friends, family, or anyone who’s up for an adventure. The dunes are waiting!🌄 MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy HIKE DETAILS Level: Easy. Great drive today with a full mix of experiences and knowledge. Thank you @JeromeFJ for planning this drive with a perfect route, Sweihan desert never disappoints. My highlight was the high slope, the long stretch in the end and of course my trademark cresting in between
