  1. Epic Sunday morning, thanks @DP1011. It was a heap of funny playing in the dunes right next to the starting point... Criss crosses, ridge riding, switches. Unfortunately we lost @Asif Hussainearly with a sick passenger, hope we can see you again soon. Everyone drove really well.. we covered 75km of challenging terrain. The mini technical zone half way up the pole track was a bit tough for some of the longer cars but we all made it, just! 😅 Fantastic way to end the drive doing some laps of the double bowl at nahel. See you all again soon!

  4. I saw Snoop's 3-sign + Dr Dre's 4-sign = hitting 7 bowls, then I realized there was a route map shared below it 🤣. No worries, it will be a relaxing drive to Sweihan Pond then ⭕

  6. Thank you @Ale Vallecchi for leading a fantastic and scenic drive. It was definitely a challenge at times, especially at the back of the convoy, but fun nonetheless! Thanks also to the support team to help us navigate through some relatively unique terrain! Unfortunately I had to head back to Dubai at the halfway point as I wasn’t feeling great, but I very much enjoyed seeing a new part of the desert. If anyone would be kind enough to share the GPX for the trail so that I could repeat it one day, I’d really appreciate it. See you all on the next drive

  7. Another lovely @Ale Vallecchi classic today. 88 km of mixed conditions. Started with some sand tracks, with a few soft patches and climbs for good measure. Then an extended ridge riding lesson on some great parrallel dunes. A number of refusals and stucks kept @Emanuel, @Aser and @Mike M. busy while i chilled at the back enjoying the well flattened ridges. A bit of criss crossing farming and urban areas got us to some stunning mountain tracks on the way to Masafi for a well deserved lunch. Well driven by all! Enjoy the week ahead.

  14. Dear Desert Wanderers, @Shary, @Myrko, @Yurybel, @JAISROCK, @Zulfikhar Naiyar, @Mei ling, @Frans M and @JC_E, thank you all for being on time this morning and your patience as we waiting for mother nature to do her thing and lift the blanket of fog that cover Qudra desert. Once we finally got going we had a variety of all aspects of desert driving, we had some up and overs, some ridge cross overs and some ridge riding. we were able to do this given the height and composition of the dunes. We also encountered some damp top sand and dry sand underneath, this meant that the top surface was slippery and that once pushed aside we encountered so soft in place and hard in other places sand. this made for tricky conditions but each and every one of you handled this like masters. we had zero stucks and only a handful of refusals, so well done to you all impressive to say the least. a big thank you to the two club members who stepped up today as second lead and sweep, @Frans M and @Zulfikhar Naiyar, you bothed played blinders today making my job so much easier so thank you both very much I hope you all enjoyed the drive as much as I did and that you have a peaceful and relaxing rest of your weekend A short relive video of todays adventures in teh link below and I added the pictures to the gallery. https://www.relive.com/view/v36AV954oGq Thanks and see you all again very soon in the sand
