Good afternoon Desert Explorers, Thank you for joining this drive and for being on time. You all drove very well through challenging technical dunes that Freddie chose to warm us up and then onwards to some taller dunes as we made our way east towards the foxes den. We had some refusals that were mostly dealt with easily and provided some practice for newer Fewbie's. During this first part of the drive the fog started getting thicker the further we were going into the desert before starting to burn off about an hour later. We had an exciting and challenging stuck with @Soap who had started slipping off a ridge and ended up in a pocket. He did the correct thing and exited the ridge though it was into this nasty predicament. It was a good learning opportunity on winches and how to safely straighten the car to then be able to self recover the rest of the way. Incremental progress back and forth requires patience and control not to over throttle. The technique also helped @Zahid Sharif later on. Thank you @Frederic for supporting me on this partial lead. Always a pleasure and a learning experience to drive with you. Also thanking @Zed for Center Forward. You made life so much better for Fred and I today on this challenging drive. Thank you @Zulfikhar Naiyar for Sweep. Good communication kept me informed about the convoy progress and movements. Special shoutout to our first time Fewbie drivers - @Soap, @Zahid Sharif, and @Herman G. Congratulations. You all did very well and this continued as we picked up the pace and difficulty. Have a great weekend and see you next time.8 points

@Emanuel, @Frederic, @Zed What an absolutely fantastic drive you gave us today! First fewbie drive, loved the way the pace picked up and we were a bit more self-reliant, good way to activate the braincells. The landscape and route was just beautiful, the mix of technical terrain opening up to larger slopes. Perfect way to spend a morning, and a perfect introduction to the next level. Thank you very much as leading team, and also many thanks to some familiar and some new faces that made for very nice encounters and comraderie.6 points

Drive report Indeed it was a beautiful drive under the full moon light . After brief we started our way straight to the long range dunes of Murqab where every one did great in the play ; riding on wide ridges and side sloping perfectly . After that we took our first break on the sabkha and the full moon became more bright and clear as the haziness started to disappear. From there we translocated to planet Qudra via the โworm hole ๐ณ๏ธ โ paja route finding ourself in the secret garden ( not secret any more ๐) and here I pushed it a bit and the flow was fluid and nice trying cross in a non newbie way whenever that was safe and possible and truly I was impressed .. the route took us to our second break facing the beautiful lake. it was time to head to exit and while crossing one of the vehicles got royally crested and this was virtually the only real stuck which made us to exercise shovelling while the moon watching from above and no rope was needed ๐ On the track to exit I debriefed the convoy and everyone seems happy with positive input. now I can declare you the knight ,( with K not N ) , Riders ๐ @JC_E thank you for replacing Michael Aser in the second lead as he had an issue with his car and couldnโt make it. You were as perfect as I expected from you to be .๐waiting to see the insta clip/ pictures ๐ @Bhaskaran Ramaswamy it was pleasure meeting you for the first time . I am sure the boys they liked it a lot . BTW your self recovery of the crest was fantastic ๐ @Alex K you did great in the night drive and nice to meet you too . @Warbs three night drives in a row . You are now a true Knight Rider. Pleasure my friend @Dipu Francis I believe you started to enjoy these night drives . Welcome to the club and you are too a knight rider @Lukas Lewis it was great meeting you . With the beasty Raptor I believe it was like a walk in the park for you . Brilliant drive . @Faraz94 Thanks Dear for keeping an eye on all of us at the tale of the convoy its pleasure to have you in all my drives almost recently . The haval is at top night rider now and the driver as well but with K not N ๐ last but not least I would like to have special thanks to @ChrisW from the support team who came from faraway to share the passion and actively flawlessly supported and guided whenever needed . see you all guys next week inshallah in another night drive .
