Hi all, Thanks @Frederic @IshakMy name is Mazdak. Originally from Pakistan. Been living in Dubai for 5 years now. Like others here, outdoors person, was meaning to get into desert driving for a while and finally glad to be here. I have a 2015 White Lexus GX 460. No desert experience yet, but I grew up in a rural area with rough terrain, so have some exposure to off-road conditions. Can confirm that have items listed in post. Looking forward !3 points

β In the memory honor of Gaurav β it was truly overwhelming feeling to witness the number of ppl who came to share this moment of silence which spoke more than any word could express . Every one prayed in his/ her heart something deep for this man who gave his life to this community to thrive , develop and connect ppl souls in making such strong bond where the Mother Nature , the desert , was the platform base. huge thank you for all who came from familiar ppl to some faces from the past which felt like yesterday . The owner was all ours to stand in one human circle to honor our beloved Gaurav . special thanks to all Carnity support team who contributed in the smooth flow of the convoy and even more massive one to Fredrick for leading this event . in our heart there will be always a place for Gaurav to remember , for his family to care and support and for the team to bear the legacy and go on . till next year memory of honor drive please take care drive safe and see you in the sand soon . I am honored to announce we have promoted @Asif Hussain to Crew rank within Carnity Offroad Club! Asif has been amongst us from the start and a mentor to many offroaders. He has never been afraid to organize drives in remote terrains, but his meticulous planning always brought everyone back home safely. His technical skills, ability to keep a cool head in every situation, and his warm approach to mentoring others have never gone unnoticed. As a Crew member, Asif can now help us to develop the club further, carrying the club ethos of creating a family of likeminded adventurers, where we not just drive together, but we socialize, create friendships and bond, and become your second family in the UAE. CREW OFFROAD RANK The Crew Offroad Rank has been designed for senior offroaders who have consistently been driving with our club, while pushing the boundaries with new strategies, techniques, and a genuine heart for the club and its future. As a small core group, it aims to analyze the club progress, and heavily focuses on the growth, quality, and leadership. Crew members are also the ones who perform the leaders lead sessions and continue to mentor our new leads and supporting members.1 point

I am honored to announce we have promoted @M.Seidam to Crew rank within Carnity Offroad Club! Mohammed Seidam joined us about 6 years ago and brought with him an infectious amount of energy and positivity. He quickly moved up in the ranks with his trusty white Xterra, and soon he was leading drives in all different terrains of the UAE. Lately his evening and night drives have been real benchmarks of what Carnity Community Spirit is all about. He is one of our best mentors and is looking over us like a father to a son, and anyone who joins his drives will be in the best possible hands. It goes without saying that we are extremely thankful and proud for his efforts and time given back to our community, and the time has come for Mohammed Seidam to help us to strategize the future of Carnity and to keep innovating. Thank you Seidam! Dear Carnity Community. The news of my promotion has arrived while I have been busy with moving to a new location, so I couldn't reply sooner. I have moved just 200 meters from my previous house, and I can't imagine how crazy it might have been having to go any further than this π. First and foremost, my thoughts go to @Gaurav, who had guided and mentored me from my very first encounter with Carnity, always being a model of kindness, patience, leadership and support throughout every interaction we ever had. He will be missed always, and each of us will carry the memory of him close to our heart. I am very grateful to @Frederic and @Srikumar for the promotion. I wasn't expecting it and am greatly honored by it. I first met a much smaller group of Carnity in 2018 as they were exiting a drive at December 2nd Cafeteria, and I was entering a UAE desert for the first time, with my new used stock FJ, and they kindly help me deflate. Sometime later I started joining them in their Qudra's drives. I recall that today's structure was just starting to be defined, and that my Fewbie promotion came as a big surprise, without having asked for it, but as the result of a common decision of the "older guys". I was hooked to Carnity's community of drivers during Covid, when it was the first, and for a long time, the only club to resume off-roading. I am sure that the leadership on this difficult but conscious decision came most of all from Gaurav. From that time, I have driven almost every weekend (and several weekdays), with a desire to always explore and find new places or things to do, which, again, Carnity allowed me to do almost freely (within the Club's guidelines). So here we are: I'd like to send my most heartfelt congratulations to my fellow new Crew members, @Asif Hussain and @M.Seidam. Couldn't deserve it more, having shown both the highest amount of leadership, and a curiosity for exploration that I surely share with them. And, truly, a huge thanks to every single Carnity member with whom I have driven before becoming a "leader", and who since joined any one of my drives. Without each of you I would not have been able to reach this goal. We share many memories and experiences that will always be valuable and precious. The desert is the only space on hearth (possibly with the oceans) that brings selflessness, brotherhood and respect to the forefront. Let's keep experiencing it toghether! See you all soon out there.1 point
