I see all these heart warming stories. Wonder who keeps a car untouched for 37 years. I have the habit of selling and moving on.

Well deserved @Emmanuel. Always a question to better the situation. Like a child, innocently seeking to better things. Proud to have a Marshal like you in Carnity. So dedicated and always ready to support in any capacity required. Keep up the great attitude.

I feel sorry for EV stuck on Sharjah to Dubai or vice versa traffic in the middle of summer with AC on full blast which takes battery. Just imagine you run out of battery on a hot summer day in traffic. I'm not technically inclined, but normal cars dynamo charges the battery, I've even heard Porche EV uses energy fro brakes. These are components within a car which could help recharge the battery on the move. Or am I wrong?

Trip Report. So we all gathered at the meeting point. One look at the participants and the thought of a newbie drive was out, it had to be a Fewbie drive. All agreed and we were off to the deflation point after a quick brief. After deflation and a quick word from @Gaurav bhai we were off. With me in lead, @G.huz in second lead did an amazing job to keep the convoy safe at all times. @shadow79 was third and made alternate routes to make it manageable whenever I found myself in any trouble. @Emmanuel kept busy in the middle, while @Shamil was closely following and @Gaurav bhai in sweep. The terrain is always pleasurable but challenging with some soft white sand. Some very smooth surface, and some really sharp ridges to cross. We had our bit of adventure with a few refusals and stucks, but all well managed. Finally a pop-out which once again gave me a bit of a chance to catch a little sleep which helped me a lot. Finally after a tough but pleasurable drive we settled down for some tea and snacks. Everybody got some really delicious treats, but it was @Gaurav bhai turn to tell us some awesome stories. Loved this side of him. After pack up we headed out, inflated and headed home. Overall well timed drive with great company and loved the night out with like minded people. With the Pathy on it's feet and seems ready for action, what better place to test it then Al Qudra Desert just behind the Qudra lakes and all the way to the Solar park and exit. This area offers a great mix of playable dunes and small technical dunes to test your control. Depending on convoy strength and liking will plan the route on the fly. My brother got the last of the Shelby 2012 manual and seems like a kid who just got his driving license. @Barry he says the same thing, he has got the last true Shelby, all models thereafter are just Ford benefiting from all of Carol's hard work and passion. I will never understand.

Thanks everyone for your valuable feedback. After changing the plugs the problem still existed. So opened the distributor and found a faulty bearing. This has been opened and changed, test drive shows car is smooth again. Thanks to @shadow79 and @Jalil bhai for fixing the issue at minimum cost. Well done guys.

You can get those from any car accessory shops in Nair and in Sharjah Industrial Area.

What about brake oil? Will that help?

True that @desertdude. I will be taking it back to @shadow79 this evening and leaving my Pathy in his capable hands. Hope he can save me the cost this time around as I am short of cash.

Wish you let me know earlier @desertdude, I already bought the nail polish remover, which is the only thing I can't use after this task is done and dusted. Already had a can of WD40.

@Barry I have bought the ATF and nail polish remover. How much quantity should I mix and what quantity should I apply.

Currently I too have been using the recovery points that come built in with the vehicle and have had no issues at all. I too like @Gaurav bhai tend to start slow and build up the tug strength with every pull. I always engage in 4 Low for a tug so I am never over 20 KPH. Some recoveries is better to dig a bit to have lesser load on the pulling vehicle. @G.huz if you find any good solution please do share, its always better to be safe than sorry.

Drums unlike disks are meants for the rear tires, how would they cause vibration while breaking as the front, disk breaks are used while breaking, drums are only used fro the hand brakes? @Sidshk you said the vibration is almost gone, have to checked why some vibration is still there?

Its just a way for the greedy people to take the lazy people for a ride at their own cost.

@Sidshk was really on to visit Salalah this year, had everything ready, but last minute change in accommodation means shifting formalities which is never easy. Insha Allah next year.

I had 24 cats and most got adopted except for the 4 left with me. Even these 4 are the sweetest but difficult and expensive to take care off. Won't be able to take one more in as one of my cats does not even like its own litter after they grow up and ends up in fights. Really can't take on one more.
