  1. I hate the most is lady drivers (Sorry in advance for that i do respect women but when it comes to driving i guess some or rather say most of them are in their own trip) they drive as if they are all alone on the road and no one around them. they will change lanes without indicators and most of them are busy on the phone while driving. the other guys i hate are the Abu-dhabi number plate guys as they are always in a hurry for what reason only God knows😉 Please note:- Nothing personal just my observation for the past 10 years 🙏
  2. 2 inch is ok I guess but you need to be careful while hard cornering that's when it tends to lift itself up the ground and turn upside down at high speeds. As it gets imbalance.
  3. For me it was a Corvette which my dad had gifted me when i was a kid and always dreamt of owning one when i grow big and get rich.with gods grace i was able to achieve my dream last year when i managed to buy myself the car of my dreams. Chevrolet corvette 1988 C4.
  4. You will surely find theses vehicle shipped to uae in the near future and for sale at the used car markets as direct imports if its a left hand drive vehicle.😉

Thanks to carnity we have the freedom to discuss life along with cars in this group. 🍺Cheers.
  7. @Barry That's what we call life experiences. it makes us better human's as compared to others who live in their comfort zone. That's why we don't ask others how much is your salary and the others do. Its our past experience and hardship which helps us have a better future.😉
  8. Its peoples mentality . They feel the grass is greener on the the other side.

  12. Still remember my Maruti Suzuki Zen 1997 model.
  13. It's the same no problem with the uae dhs but it's beneficial to exchange to omr and use it.
  14. Hi there, i have been there for 4 years and have enjoyed every part of it life is slow but peaceful. will share my thoughts as to the details i know but do check as new rules come everyday. You can transfer your vehicle from Uae to Oman once you obtain your Omani licence. You need to apply for fresh licence once you are there and no conversion of licence is done now a days. You can still have 3 licences with you of all Gcc but the country you drive that licence is counted as that is linked to your Oman Id card. Regarding the rent its actually cheaper than Uae but depends which area in Oman your are placed. rates vary as per area of residence and distance of commute from the city. Cars are cheaper and lots of choice in uae as compared to Oman, if you are lucky you can sell your car too for a good price in Oman. All the best for a much simpler and slower life in Oman as compared to Uae which is fast. you will end up having more time on your hands and enjoy the mountainous stretch. only remember one thing if you wanna drive down to uae after getting your visa be sure you get the right designation on the visa which allows you to drive in and out of the country without getting stuck and returned back from the border.

  16. Sorry @Barry, @Rahimdad guess I was too involved in a love / hate discussion the last time. I do agree with what you said. Hope not to get into a discussion in the future. @desertdude I would like to continue it one on one the next time we meet buddy.😙 Till then you can checkout my project ride getting an upgrade.✌
  17. When you compare a car to a woman is a very intresting subject but again it depends what type of women you looking at a house wife who's caring and will take care of you and your family or someone who's flashy and is liked by your friends and the world and who will empty your pockets most of the time . The same way Its you and your ride which matters the most a pajero or a range rover never matters..😙
  18. I guess you mistaken a pajero with some other car you love driving @desertdude don't get me wrong but everyone has a taste of their own especially if it's their ride may it be a pajero or a Nissan patrol. Both are doing well in the market and therefore you see so many on the road in good condition used as a daily mode of transport and for off roading. We all buy cars for a purpose and if that is sorted then we don't need anything else.
  19. @stigIt's a 3.5 and 170k kms driven
  20. Sorry @desertdude bro thought you asked about the bike. Pajero is a 2004 model 2door v6 4x4. 17000kms driven. Paid 14k.
  21. At last got my hands on my new ride. I guess we can have a bikers group too. What say @Gaurav bhai.
