Good afternoon @JC_E@Maneesh Madayan@baris@Jakob T@Glenn W@Shane Phillips@DELRIO@Artur Davtyan@Anish S@Esteban Ayala@Sandeep Padhi@Vanessa8580 Thank you all for signing up! This will be a gentle beginner level drive with the aim of getting comfortable of driving in the dunes and with the great support that signed up this means we will be by your side every step of the way. Some pointers for tomorrow: 1. Please try to arrive by 5.45AM. Then you have enough time to deflate your tires (14psi if HT tires, 12psi if AT tires) and set up your flag. Latecomers will be sent back. 2. If this is your very first drive, please watch the newbie briefing video attached in this drive topic. This way you'll be ahead of the curve even before starting 3. Feel free to bring passengers but make sure everyone is always strapped in during the drive. No exceptions. 4. We will be using Channel 10 on the walkie talkies: 446.231 Mhz. We will test each radio before heading out. If you struggle how to program it, you can just put the radio in VFO mode and enter this frequency. If you do not have a radio yet we will carry a spare you can lend for your first drive. No doubt it will be a fun morning out. Bring enough to drink and some protection from the sun. See you soon!

Joining an Offroad Club for the first time can be perhaps nerve-wrecking and exciting at the same time, and there might be many things going through your mind! In this topic we will guide your through those first steps to make you feel more comfortable and list the chronological steps to follow to get you all ready and set up for your first drive with us. When signing up for our club, we do expect you to go through below topic before joining your first drive. Subscribing with Carnity Offroad Club Joining Carnity Offroad Club requires you to sign up for a monthly or yearly subscription through an online payment process. You can select whichever subscription model you like best here below: https://carnity.com/subscriptions If you are a new member, select "New Member" and create your login profile. Once your payment is completed, you will receive an email containing the “Joining Instructions” for off-road drives. This onboarding email contains a lot of helpful information so please take your time to read it. Please follow the instructions carefully on how to: Join the Off-road Club (make sure to click in the upper right corner on JOIN CLUB). Frequently Asked Questions Is my car suitable for off-roading? We recommend using a proper 4x4 vehicle with: At least 8–9 inches of ground clearance. Front and rear tow/recovery points. The factory ones are fine. A low-range transfer case (4L) Note: for EV/PHEV vehicles low range gearing might be limited or not available. If you are unsure whether your vehicle is suitable, please contact us before purchasing a subscription. Do I need to modify my vehicle? Not at all! We strongly recommend driving your vehicle in stock condition first to assess its capabilities. After completing a couple of drives, you will better understand whether modifications are necessary as this is very vehicle dependent. For desert driving, the most common upgrades will include: All-terrain tires (AT) Bash/skid plates to protect radiator and bumpers. Bumper trimming (can help increase approach and departure angles). Lift kit. Unlike many other off-road clubs supported by garages, we do not sell or promote modifications. We encourage you to see what works for you and engage in our forum discussions to understand better what you need or want. What do I need for my first drive? You will need: A valid UAE driving license. Basic understanding of your vehicle’s 4x4 settings.
