  1. Congratulations @Giacomo for joining the Support Team with Carnity Offroad Club! Looking forward to seeing you grow further and helping others to learn the art of offroading in a safe environment. Please make sure your Carnity user profile is always updated with all the latest Emergency contact details. SUPPORT TEAM Pre-requisite 1) Minimum 10 any level "Carnity" drives are required after your Intermediate promotion to become eligible for the Support Team. Once you decide to join Team Carnity to excel further with your off-roading, people, and commanding skills, you will be extensively trained by the whole Team Carnity from Expert - Marshal - Crew at various stages by supporting different levels drives. Activities for Support Team Members Support different Marshals and Crew at Newbie level drives to demonstrate: Your ability and willingness to support new offroaders. Ability to gain control of commanding situations. And clear communication skills to help manage the convoy. Possible progress toward becoming an Advisor Once you have proved to be a regular Supporting Team member and have supported different trip leads on several Newbie and Fewbie drives, we will gather your periodic feedback. Based on this feedback and reviews you might receive an invitation to become a Carnity Advisor for further advancement within our community. You will also need to have completed a minimum of 5 Intermediate Level drives, and be a regular club member (minimum supporting 6 Newbie or Fewbie drives per quarter) to become eligible. Being invited to an Advisor role means we put our faith in you as a passionate club member who displays maturity and passion to carry your knowledge on to new off-roaders who are still progressing through the ranks. Sharing the same photo as in Glenn his promotion 😅
  2. That's a million dollar shot! Beautiful detail! PS There is indeed a small glitch in the media gallery. For now you can just upload it in the main Media Gallery (in the upper right corner you can click on "Add Images". Media Gallery - Carnity.com Once we have all the photos i will then categorize them into the album. Oddly enough if you create an album others can't post photos inside of it. Will figure that out later.
  3. Media Gallery - Carnity.com Just put them in the main Media gallery. Will manually shift them into the dedicated album.

  6. Thank you all so much for joining us last night! The weather was still very much doable, the cookies delicious @Ana ,and it was so great to see old friends back in the Carnity family @samamara! Your commitment and support to drive all the way from RAK to Al Razeen is admirable. Thank you so much. I think we all had plenty of time to mess around with our camera settings, or in the case of @Zubail his bazooka 😁 and i was super impressed with everyone's results. Even @Thomas54675 that just showed up with his phone was getting stellar results! I just selected to upload two photos which i liked. One was with the 14mm Samyang f2.8 where Sam was just pointing her laser at the sky. Gives it a nice sci-fi atmosphere. The second one is with the 35mm f2.0. There's also a gallery made for this event. Feel free to put your photos also in there. See you all back in the sand! (or starry skies in this case)
  7. @Imran Asghar might be able to help you, his FJ (aka Jeff) has been around the block a few times Also tagging some other FJ buddies: @Rob S @Ale Vallecchi @JeromeFJ @Ash S. Recommendations of workshop are not being shared publicly here, but some of the above members here can surely send you a DM.
  8. Great to have you in @samamara!! Already looking forward to it! I remember we spoke a long time back about the fact you were using a crop lens on your Full Frame 5D Mark4 to give you that extra throw. Must have been 5 years back or so.
  9. Good evening everyone! You can find the planned track attached (GPX). There is a farm and some trees in the area, so we might be able to roam around a bit to find a sweet spot. I think the farm is abandoned and could turn out to be a great subject. I just hope Al Razeen prison won't have their floodlights on that evening 🫣 so light pollution would be not an issue. Let's all meet up at 9PM and deflate at the entry point. Bring a walkie talkie and let's use CH10: 446.231Mhz. Don't forget your chairs Milkyway_Razeen_Trip.gpx
