@Gaurav I am fine to be removed from this wait list. Initially, I was hoping to get this newbie and opt out from the confirmed Fewbie Al Qudra drive led by Vanessa. After some thought, I think I will try out my first fewbie drive 🤞 and happy to vacate from this wait list for people below to have a chance.

I am very surprised that the off-roading club/drives started fairly recently in 2017. With all the structures, team members etc that I see today, I thought the club has been around for much longer. Very impressed with all the hard and good work that you guys did throughout the span of 3 years + and continuing.

@Rahimdad I can understand the frustration, especially the chaos for 1000 cars to come through an opening for a single car!

F1 is a long lost passion for me. Motogp is where thrill meets passion, talent and everything else in the world. Race Sunday’s I will be at home before 4 to watch it live on wide screen.
When did you lose the passion and why? Dominance of a particular team or too many rules changes?

Hi Brette, @Gaurav I took ownership of a wrangler 2014 this week from a EK pilot with 20,000kms on it. Thanks for the encouraging advice. I want to speed up movement and learn faster. Did not want to damage the 5.7 just incase. Pls pive me extra brownie points for being real good enthusiast!
congratulations with your new ride

I think almost everyone identified tailgaters as one of the main problem.
Thankfully, with a 4x4, the likelihood of this happening is rather low but I still get some from bigger SUVs.
However, as Barry had pointed out, I have witnessed a fair number of smaller cars being tailgated by taxis, sedans and SUVs of various sizes.

I hope authorities will conduct frequent patrol and fine those who litter at wadis, picnic and BBQ area. Once all the fines are imposed, it will not completely eradicate the problem because it is down to awareness but it will be a strong deterrence.

My list in no particular order is as below:
1) indecisive or unpredictable drivers - you can never tell when the person will brake, turn or stop.
2) tailgaters on the slow lanes
3) distracted drivers - most of the time the person will be on the phone
What are yours?
Good to share so that we can avoid some bad habits that may endanger other road users.

This is good information/reminder so that we always use the right battery size. But how did the wrong battery size got installed in the first place?

@Rahimdad thanks for this. I will check it out. Did you participate as a marshal before? I am sure the experience is different
I went to Bahrain last year to watch the race on a day trip fly in and fly out. I was tempted to attend the Abu Dhabi race but postponed it to this year due. As we all know COVID hit and things changed. Sort of regret my decision made last year. Lesson is, if you want to do something, do it as soon as you can and not postpone it. Nothing is guaranteed in the future.

Thanks @Srikumar for being too patient with me during those days.
You did a demo on the proper shovel technique with my Murano.
Thanks Doc @Chaitanya D
