  1. You really got me so curious barry. Best video for bike engined car I found on ytube, hear the roar at 1:01, amazing.
  2. What a great word of wisdom man, totally agree and impressed and that I am not the only one who believe in good and bad karma's. After all you get what you give folks.
  3. Have you tried in Deira Naif and Sharjah BMW road aftermarket shops. These two places sells almost everything that you require for cars in UAE.
  4. Seriously girl, don't you have anything better to ask? People here are crying for their melted engine head and you are worried about not to move or stretch little bit, lolololololololololol.
  5. I said yes, but I totally agree with Saleem. What I mean is, if any one forum been created under any main forum that includes all other gir gir talks, them it's healthy as sometime we like to talk and share other stuff. Having various tens and hundred of other categories listed above is insane and Carnity should rename to souqnity in that case.
  6. What a beautiful car Porsche have designed. Really amazing designers on board. Just a thought that if electric car companies assin 4 charging port on car one on each side, can it charge the batteries 4 times faster. It's just that charging bay should have 4 sockets available to feed the car faster, hope its possible.
  7. This is too much too far man, this looks like Rolls Royce and not taxi. Do you know which company make and model those taxi's are from? They are hugely spacious and very well chosen for that purpose.
  8. Sharjah BMW road behind the Shj city center has plenty of spare parts shop. Drive down one day and compare the price on the spot and buy whatever is required. That's what I do on some of the saturday's.
  9. NFS is my all time favorite on my desktop with loud setup and dimmed lights
  10. Try tamam vehicle testing center in al awir in ras al khor area, they are actually the truck testing center and all offroad safari 4x4 testing center who test the 4x4 with roll cage safety. They usually don't give much attention to smaller stuff and care about the bigger concerns for safety.
  11. WTH, this guy is doing as a test pilot and can't control the car with little brake wobble or whatever. He could have saved the car by holding the steering straight, that's it.
  12. No way man, this looks like too much for Jeep standard body. Hope its wide enough to match the length or else it will look like Jeep wrangler dragging a trailer.
  13. Here is the latest Tesla Crash Image: http://jalopnik.com/tesla-model-s-in-fatal-autpilot-crash-was-going-74-mph-1784332917
  14. Sad to see your crash pic, just wanted to know when you roll over the car it looses engine oil...? As you said changed oil and started over.
  15. I think 1 to 2 inch taller should be ok, don't go above 2 inch in height you will have rubbing inside the wheel arc on turning.
  16. It's called stance and usually done to improve the cornering for high speed cornering requirement in racing. People these days are over-doing it just to look cool and have that unique identity from the crowd. Tilting it anyway more than 3 degree will screw everything in the car mechanics from tires, axle, driveshaft, and even the fuel economy.
  17. Thanks buddy, for answering it very nicely with required cause and affect. Though I don't intend to but now I will be more careful in not to upgrade even while changing the tires, as sometime vendor recommend bigger tires as they dont have exact OEM option, so now I know my answer to such suggestive selling.
  18. TBH, Chevrolet trucks are very nice and very capable than Ford. Chevy trucks are highly under-valued here and Ford is over-rated.
  19. I heard ppl saying bigger wheels help in giving better fuel mileage, as axle diameter is same so sticking a bigger diameter wheel on same axel size will help vehicle cover more miles in same fuel.
  20. @hanif I understand what you are saying, but my question is how so many local boyz here add the turbo to non-turbo model nissan patrol, land cruiser for additional power gain for offroad use?
  21. Of course Avalon is tad cheaper in price and maintenance, but ES offers better luxury and inch better resale value than Avalon. ES is Lexus flagship car after RX, you put on sale today and tomorrow it's gone. If spending 10% extra on maintenance and buying price isn't issue, my strong vote is with ES.
  22. Yes man bigger engines are horrible in stop and go traffic. Few years back my Range use to give 23-25 L/100km when I used to drive 2-3 kms from my home to office in 15 mins. When I shifted to another house and drive 15 kms in 15 mins then consumption dropped down to 16-18 L/100km
  23. It's an amazing place for your type of people who appreciate the older beauties. It has awesome collection of antique cars that rainbow sheikh bought them at bulk from coloring 7 merc for 7 days a week, and making the biggest dodge truck with human size tire size and so on. Don't want to reveal all wow factor if you want to visit as it's def a worth a visit for once in a lifetime. I have been there few years back I think in 2012/13 when they were about to set all cars ready for public display and start charging the entrance fees as per the new setup. I spent about an hour but in rush-rush way and I suggest keep at least 2-3 hours in hand to enjoy thoroughly and appreciate it. Below is a teaser for you to have a lunch in a enormous size defender working as a restaurant (more kind of cafeteria).
  24. It's good that majority of concept designs doesn't see the light of assembly line or else we all will puke on the roads from day and night, if ever we see this brutally SLAUGHTERED Rolls Royce "The Prestigious Car" design like this. Admin: we need emoticon of puke here in post editor please.
  25. I like the maxi idea to be honest as company can have two option named very conveniently based as per the sizes: Mini and Maxi, how cool will it sound. Although it sounds bit funny, but they are unique as no other car brand has same naming convention.
