How to disable Ford Expedition Side Airbags?
Zubail replied to Zubail's topic in Ford Expedition Forum in UAE
You know, I think this was 2021 Ranger or old one, because in 2024 Ranger manual https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Content?variantid=9478&languageCode=en&countryCode=USA&Uid=G2319587&ProcUid=G2234132&userMarket=USA&div=f&vFilteringEnabled=False&buildtype=web "The side airbags are on the outermost side of each front seat backrest. In certain sideways crashes or rollovers, the airbags will be inflated." "The Safety Canopy deploys during significant side crashes or when a certain likelihood of a rollover event is detected by the rollover sensor. The Safety Canopy is mounted to the roof side-rail sheet metal, behind the headliner, above each row of seats. In certain sideways crashes or rollover events, the Safety Canopy will be activated, regardless of which seats are occupied. The Safety Canopy inflates between the side window area and occupants to further enhance protection provided in side impact crashes and rollover events." -
