Passenger Fuse Box: fuse #35 Restraints module: what does it do?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Enjoying my F150 2015 on the desert, but I was speaking with other drivers in one of the recent drive and apparently Fords are very sensible on "fast incline changes" and that sometimes this has seen/felt like a "accident" and the Airbags would just pop out for no reason....

I am not really keen to "chop" factory wires in order to put a kill switch, hence I have been researching which fuse can produce the same result.. apparently Passenger Fuse Box: fuse #35 Restraints module is the one that also "control the deploy of the Airbag"...

Question:
- What does Passenger Fuse Box: fuse #35 Restraints module actually do?
- if I remove it while off-roading, what else will not work? (beside the Airbags if this is the right fuse)
- what alternative do you recommend to avoid Airbags deploying for no reason? (I also understand that non Airbags is definitely not a good way to go, but I am happy to take the risk in the sand)

Looking forward to hearing back form anybody here

Thank you
