Strange… I clicked on the Fewbie + drive for Saturday, but it brought me to the Sunday drive.

And you signed up for both.!!

You were my anchor driving partner when I started leading. You used to join drive posted by a different lead every week and find me at the front. I used to wonder how you felt.

Now it’s turn for someone else to have your august company.

Good morning explorers, @Looper has kindly offered to allow me to lead his drive the convoy order will be posted shortly.

@Tatsiana Chase, @Gilberto, @Yurybel, @Stuart G, @Matt - monkeywrench, @Juan R, @J-P L, @Mehmet Volga.

To begin with we will start our drive Faya side and venture into the sand towards Sweihan, I plan to hit 2 major waypoints one of which will be the iconic fox den where we can choose to take a short break, we will then continue to the next waypoint towards Sweihan pond once we have rested up we will explore further into the dunes this desert has to offer, the idea of this drive is to practice all the techniques you have learned until this point, with any extra time we will play around the dunes until we reach the exit point. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning.

Dear @Hashem Rihan unfortunately, this is a Fewbie drive and your still under the Newbie rank which means we will have to remove your RSVP. However, I see you have 8 Newbie drives so if you wish to join this level drive in the future, please apply for a promotion found here

Dear explorers

@Tatsiana Chase, @Gilberto, @Yurybel, @Stuart G, @Matt - monkeywrench, @Juan R, @J-P L, @Looper, @Gary F

Absolutely fantastic drive from everyone involved, as expected we had sand filled with moisture making the terrain very difficult for the convoy, however this was part of the purpose of this drive to learn the difference between speed and momentum while encountering new environments affecting the handling of your 4x4 once you master this you will begin to notice how you adapt your driving style and technique in response to the handling.

We had some great refusals with fantastic weather allowed us to learn important shoveling techniques such as the importance of the V-channel, where to dig and why, which is important for all off-roaders, we could also showcase the difference in the moist sand during this colder climate we have encountered.

Thank you to @Looper for allowing me to take over his drive, much appreciated I had a lot of fun.

@Gary F good sweep and handling those refusals in the back and middle

@Davie Smooth_Operator Much appreciated for the assist as a center forward while being a passenger, always good having you supporting my convoy in any way you can, and thanks for the tips I'll be working on them with my next lead!
