tarik
Very good question asked. Hardly people who drive cars know about the oil to be put in their engine. The most important thing that one should keep in mind about the motor oil is its viscosity. Your dealer always provide you the range of oil viscosity suited for your car. So one should read the manual, and maintain the same oil viscosity every time. If you don’t, it leads to oil leaking and thus engine overheating. jean
Thank you for your reply. It was really helpful. I also wanted to ask about re-refined motor oil. What is that used for?
tarik
Re-refined motor oil is recycled motor oil. Its ok to use the re-refined motor oil only if it meets all the stages of APi and OEM performance. They are safe to use in a new car and does not affect the car warranty.
