iliyas
Hi guys --- I have a honda crv 07 model and have accidentally locked the audio system in my car ... well actually it was not an accident but i just did not that there was this setup in the car if i remove my radio or disconnect the battery. Apparently there is a lock up system if you do either of the two things so that the audio system can be prevented from being stolen. i need to enter a security code which will unlock it. don't have the card that i should have from the time i bought the car. Don't know where it went. Been moving a lot actually. Can someone tell me what I can do to fix this problem. Any way to reset it without having to contact the official Honda people? farzaana
Woops losing the card was a mistake. I have kept mine safely because without that code you can't play anything. have you tried talking to someone at Al Futtaim?
abbhay
that happened to me once, had to take my car to al futtaim .. they examined the audio system to catch the serial number on it. Handed me a new card for it which I have since then kept with me under lock and key

captain
Yes thats all there is to it. Once you are done with the process the radio/audio system shuld automatically start playing like normal.
jeetsd
If the car is sold from dealer here, then they can pull the code from your VIN number and even give you code with proper identification over the phone. Surely if you visit with your registration card and Emirates ID, they can give you that in few minutes without charging anything.
