rudydede
Dear All, I just bought a second hand 2009 Audi A4 1.8T which the headlight came with LED but no option for Daytime Running Light (on/off) from the head unit control panel. Therefore I think that the car doesn't have that feature. However, from some readings, I understand that we can increase the brightness or intensity of the LED when your headlights are on by using VAG COM. By default, the LEDs are only 8-9% of brightness. So, anyone here has done LED brightness adjustment? Care to share how/where can I perform this? I don't have VAG COM and not thinking of buying it. Thanks Dede
dilshad
LED brightness is adjusted by ballast with which it is supplied. Changing from VAG COM will not help either. You need to change the xenon ballast to deliver more lumens brightness. This stuff surely sounds very interesting and i love to hear more as what you do in reality to fix. Keep us posted.
