farooqhussain Posted December 19, 2010 Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 hello guys, finally a website for dubai... anyways i am having an issue here that is i just had front section of my exhaust replaced on my i40 ,my garage guy said that the car requires a new sensor as they could not mend the existing sensor as it was threaded i want to know that can a second hand sensor be re threaded or is new one really required. please advice at the earliest cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pinlesspine Posted December 20, 2010 Report Share Posted December 20, 2010 No new or used manifold sensor is threaded, the mechanic who removed it out must have rotated million times that it cant be fixed now. Thats the problem with many roadside iranian, indian and pakistani guys. They try too hard before using their head. Get used one and for sure it will fit.
