keyshawn
the car has overheating but the only indication is the AC switching off could there be any other reason?
rehmaan
AC could also switch off fore other reason that i will explain later, first check if temp gauge is climbing, or car is missing or smoke coming out of hood. If yes dont drive and show to mechanic If no, and only AC switch off or cut off compressor and throw hot air it isnt mean overheating in all the cases. In some yes with the clear indication from gauge or any other signs. This is AC issue is separate issue in that case. Check battery terminal and alternator dying. If alternator is dead you might drive car for a day or two more before it dies completelyt and in that case AC wont switch on at all.
