  3. Drive report: Apologies for the delayed Report! But better late than Never. Thankyou @Looper @munkybizness @Anoop Nair @ASAD. @Zixuan Huang - Charlie @Mario Cornejo for joining me on this entertaining drive though the challenging terrain of Al Qua. Thanks Mayank, Asad, Anoop and Mario for the amazing reviews of the Drive. You have a gift with words @munkybizness as much as of Amazing Driver!.. its only while we face the challenge , we realize the hidden truth about ourselves. We had a lot of them and we all faced them together one dune at a time. Kudos to the Special recovery team @ASAD. @Mario Cornejo and @Zixuan Huang - Charlie for executing the plan to perfection. All of us should be proud of our collective achievements while reflecting on the personal satisfaction of learning something new about ourselves and cars. I hope the issue is not bad as it sounded @Zixuan Huang - Charlie and that this setback is just like catapult pulling you back to achieve higher grounds! Thanks you all again for being wonderful convoy ! Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New year!

  4. Hi @Carnity family, Posting this to the Pajero community following the nice gesture from @Hisham Masaad to help out community members. Following that I decided to pay it forward by sharing some of my Pajero accessories. These are Matt black mirror covers and door handles which I want Carnity members to benefit from. My Pajero is a 2020 and they were a perfect fit for 2 weeks before I de-chromed the entire car and removed them accordingly. I am guessing it should fit any gen4 pajero as there shouldn’t be any changes to the mirror and handle designs. Not a single scratch on them. Please reach out to me if you want to put them on. My only request is to share photos with the Pajero community here to show how good Pajeros look like when pampered Message me to coordinate for collection. First come first serve of course. Thank you!

  5. Of course, the waitlist moves as per first cum first serve "automatically". If you hover over the (1) on the profile icon you can even see the exact date and time that person joined the WL. Just FYI, you are WL10 atm and not number one. You joined WL on 19 Dec, Mon at 9:42 PM and current Number 1 WL joined on 19 Dec, Mon at 7:02 PM. The one WL that moved Mr. Essam was at 7:01 PM.

  7. Dear friends @Brett Eicher @Mike M. @Harshal@Senthil Kumar@Gerrit Bus@Ignacio Quindós @Haitham Khattab Thank you a lot for joining the drive . Afternoon sunset catch up drives at the golden hour is one of my favourite after a long stressful workday..there is no match to this view when after it your senses becomes alert as the dark descends upon us It was of great pleasure meeting new friends and catching up with familiar and old ones . every one was on time and straight away , after briefing , we headed fast toward the falling sun through the first patch of technical dunes . While the sky still gold and blue we translocated to the next more difficult patch across the sabkha just to encounter our first refusal and sideway crest and by the time nice self assisted recovery done it was dark. now the night drive action start riding the longe range in gradual increasing pace but safe . Criss crossing all what came in front of us . The second side way stuck came and I had to return to check it up and it was also cleared quick without the need of the rope. These moments when we get stuck are the moments where we refine the art and stir the team spirit to bring up solutions in at most safe manner . Well done all . taking the last limb of the C route with a tinch of super technical before the sakha leading to the pylon track and then to exit point . I have to say I have enjoyed it to the max especially with my bro in law who equally did and asked for even more 😅. Your wide smiles at the inflation point said it all of how great you drove and how smoothly enjoyed it . I wish every one a prosperous and happy new year with the first day of the new year sunrise . cheers Seidam

  21. Hi Guarav Just would like to know how the selection from waiting list to the drive list if someone drops. If it’s first come first serve then fine . But if it’s alphabetical then it’s not fair. I believe I was the first one came into waiting list. But I can see someone else moved to the list. Please clarify if I’m wrong.

  23. What a drive! It was fulfilled with little bit of everything. Fast drives as well as technical dunes. Ans the sunset view was amazing I managed to get my Tundra stuck. And it was a fantastic learning. The steering worked completely different when I went from 1200 to 1500 rpm.

  26. @ASAD. - No! Please keep writing. My perspective would be incomplete without yours. There is a story unfolding in every section of the convoy. Together, our stories are fuller and richer @Frederic - Speechless is exactly how I feel in each drive under your lead 🙏 Glad to finally repay in a small way @Islam Soliman, you made my day. Your words mean that much more to me, because they're coming from you. I'm eagerly awaiting a GO TECH session when you're back

  31. What a great day capped with a fantastic drive. Quaa is not for the fainthearted but we had our fair share of daredevils who took up the challenge. As the terrain throws up one challenge after the other more like a video game with boss levels, you are bound get some bruises on the way. We had to deal with pop-outs, refusals, stucks, broken bumpers and finally a recovery of an almost dead car. But the most important thing in the end that we were able to come out together as safely as we went in and for that a huge credit to our lead @GauravSoni. Thanks for trusting us and giving us confidence at times (during the recovery) when even we were doubting ourselves 😅. @Looper great SL and maintaining pace at the front thats so important @munkybizness @Anoop Nair wonderful driving on your first Quaa trip, the terrain tests your vehicle to the max so selecting the right gears and shifting them at the right time becomes all the more important but i could see that once got the hang of, sailing thru those tall dunes and bowls became much more easier and fun. @Zixuan Huang - Charlie i hope that horrid sound is not what we feared it would be and the car has no major issue. Good thing is we were able to bring it out from some steep climbs. @Mario Cornejo our designated sweep as usual, think @Carnity should make this your official designation now 😂. Was a wonderful experience doing the recovery & synchronizing the power of our cars. Thank you all for your energy, teamwork and chitchat. See you soon!

  36. I've done Musandam somewhere in 2018 with Arabic speaking friends. We drove to Khasab port and took our camping gear with us and approached one of the fishermen. He took us to one of the beaches, around here somewhere: https://goo.gl/maps/JfKFSFp9bBhxjEtNA dropped us off, and came to pick us up a 9AM the next morning. We camped at the beach and for the first time ever i saw the phytoplankton in the ocean. It was unforgettable ! I was not able to take a photo but it looked like this:
