  12. You're right @Krishna R i might be leaving the LC for longer project in garage... Initially I wanted the Jeep G Cherokee stock with its tiny 29" tires, but @Asif Hussain bhai is right I had to change to thicker sidewalls, so I just took advantage of Ramadan Sale and changed the wheels to Zero Offset (to clear the Upper Arm bolt that was limiting max tire to 29", see pic below) and upgraded tires to 31" Geolandar P265/70/17. Now the car will be ready even for @Srikumar's drives 😅 Pic 1: Zero Offset (avoiding wheel spacer) to move away from suspension and annoying Upper Arm Bolt Pic 2: New 265/70/17 Geolandar tires (downsize from 17" rims)

  14. Dear Sand Sailors After more than 6 months, High Speed Drama series is back again to where it all started - Tawi Nazwa. Most of us have already been to Tawi Nazwa, clicked some nice pics on top of Pink Rock and had fun rolling through nice bowls that this area offers. It was all good for NB and FB drives. With this drive, we will take adventure to another level by adding lot more gas and thrill to this route well travelled. And to add to the drama, we aspire to climb all the way to the top of Big Red and have some fun around the place (ofcourse while ensuring Safety as our top priority). So get ready to make your engine roar and fulfil our Need For Speed. Ron.P @Ron.P Joseph Sebastian @Joseph Sebastian premindra rajaram @premindra rajaram Rajat Verma @Rajat Verma Richard Franks @Richard Franks Juan R @Juan R imranaasghar81 @imranaasghar81 I had an amazing morning out with you guys, and I hoped you liked it as much as I did ! The blend of backcountry roads, farm tracks, dunes, and the wadis gave us a good view on how colorful UAE can be in this season. I also hope this instilled a desire in you all to explore as much as you can this part of the UAE, as it is still mostly unspoiled. You all drove fantastic and the spirits were high all morning. Thanks @Richard Franks for your excellent second lead role, and @imranaasghar81 for being a superb support and sweep ! Hats off to @Varun Mehndiratta for taking up this challenge and completing the track after having received it just the evening before. And again thanks for giving our waitlisted members the perfect morning out ! See you all soon in the sand / wadis / again !

  24. This might be the right reason @Krishna R. I was trying to figure out the reason how it broke when I was under your xterra fixing the leaves. I had noticed the rubber padding 3mm to 4mm thick given with gaps in between under each leaves. The leaves were not resting on each other as seen in the pictures above and i believe this might had stressed the blades to become weak and gave up.

  26. Gaia GPS is since a couple of years now a part of Outside Group. I recently found out that for Premium members, you can upgrade to the Outside+ membership free of cost during the first year, and that you will automatically get access to lots of training tutorials. NOTE: Renewal will be at 59,99USD per year instead of the regular 39.9 USD per year (Premium subscription). I was able to click on "upgrade to Outside+" and it showed "0 USD", after confirming my credit card details i got immediate access to the entire Outside+ platform with below tutorials and courses: Mapping Archives | Outside Learn (outsideonline.com) For anyone trying to get more out of his Gaia GPS functionalities i would highly recommend it.
