Back in the 70s UAE had one lane going into Dubai from Sharjah and one lane on the return. Sheikh Zayed Road was similar. Sharjah and Ajman have always had cheap housing and Dubai always offered jobs for all. The traffic in those days used to be just as bad. Come the 80s they made 2 lane roads Dubai to Sharjah, with Garhood bridge added to the 2 lanes on Maktoum bridge. Traffic has always been somewhat tough and honking has always been the first language spoken on the UAE roads. A sample of it is UAE residents are too lazy and even for a can of Pepsi would honk at a grocery store to get it for them.

Not only Bebsi Bhai till now for Karak its important to HONK

I wonder if Planes Honk at each other if they are close enough or Tail Gating !

I have seen Trains and Ships blowing that Loud HONK at each other.

How do you think transport will be in 200 years?

Obviously we will all be dead and gone. The dinosaur juice will have run out long ago. The people have rebelled against electric cars 100 years ago because mining lithium is destroying the planet.

What do you think the people in the future will do for transportation and how will they make it work? Will they ruin the planet to the point where everyone goes back to riding horses again?

Bro do you really think horses! The way we destroying our environment and raping Mother Earth now. I dont think there will be any other animals left to ride.

The Jetsons! already answered that question along time ago.

I never had anyone put petrol in my car until I came to uae. It’s just not a thing where I’m from. You fill your own car.

I don’t understand the mentality of the petrol companies paying people to stand on the forecourts but I just roll with it. When in Rome.....

Its Logic, But think Bro how many people have Jobs due to this and their families surviving due to what they do!

1 in 100% people working in petrol pump can win 15 million too do you know that!

Tahoe any day of the week and twice on Sunday. This whole realibilty thing is now just nothing but a myth now. Jap cars have just about as much electrickery than anything else and neither is maintenance or parts any cheaper. Tahoe much more roomier much more options a better ride and wasn't hit by every branch on the ugly tree on it ways down like the Land Cruiser. Tahoe is a solid cruiser and many in safaris also use this and i know some that are over 250k Plus kms and still look and drive great. I will also thrown in the Toyota Sequoia in this mix. That thing is big and comfortable and the engine on that is super bitchin 0-100 in just over 6 secs can smoke most sedans and So called sports coupes in a straight line drag, with 3rd row seats which can actually seat 2 adults comfortably. Also look into the Nissan Armada. Going cheap nowadays and Sequoia standards to boot

You Mean Twice on Friday! Thats the only off Few people get a week you know in GCC

  10. This Topic made me Nostalgic, made me Miss My  beautiful Pajero. How much I struggled to get her where she was and made  @Barry work till he got his PHD in Pajerootics.

But Now I think Tahoe will Lead me out of Depression.

By the way after reading this if any one planning to buy 1 Full Option 2007 Pajero with Leather Seats and sun roof with very low mileage and well maintained do let me know.

Let’s do it. Bring your cheque book 😂

I think it could be done better than that though. The generator should be inside the van. Towing a trailer around uses more fuel and will eat into our profits.
