Good morning @Srikumar I was hoping to have this drive- which would have been my 100th- with you this Sunday. But an old friend from India is visiting this Sunday morning and will have to pull out. Hopefully can join another drive of yours soon.

Hi Fred @Frederic What about GPS location/ track accuracy? In your opinion which one offers greater accuracy? Remember during the last DCT we all kind of suffered somewhat due to this. Gaia was showing different tracks on each phone even though we all followed the same track. I understand it is down to your phones data / GPS and due to this reason, I was eventually planning to get a something like Garmin Overlander or Magellan TRX7 exclusively for recording/ planning. But not so sure now after reading your comments above.🙄

The above seems to be estimated torque curve for JL in first gear. So it seems it's not productive to go beyond the 5000 rpm point. The best way to is to anticipate the gear and climb and generate enough momentum and keep the pedal modulated (not flooring) to keep the rpm between 4000-5000.
