  1. well done @Simon Dawood. As someone I have driven with many times and witnessed the smiling face & helping hand, i know you will do great being a support. All the best!
  2. the roll over recovery bit is interesting, we never tried this technique.
  3. If he doesnt lose something, he will lose himself, @Zedhas those superpowers. Me & @Imran Kashif have experienced losing zedy on a straight dirt track.
  4. Thats very similar @Zed, like karthik i also watched Anwar’s LC fly off on the other side, that the radio silence afterwards from him afterwards was a very scary time until we were able to recover him. sometimes we push ourselves to take the highest line, be closer to the edge or go further than the car before us. But the safest route is always what the car infront or the marshals have taken. Btw is it the same LC or a different car?
  5. Unfortunately wont be around, Traveling during the next couple of weeks doc. But i hope and im sure many more Sweihan drives instore this season.
  6. Damn, im surprised that after yesterday you two still had energy to do another drive this morning 😃 @Zed Especially the LC1000 after dragging the recovery vehicle thru half the desert, you made her climb lady dune 🤯😂
  7. Wasn't sure how to comment on this one, i guess still soaking in what happened. There is a life lesson for all of us who want to enjoy this sport, doesn't matter how experienced you are whether you are a newbie, intermediate or an expert, a wrong judgment, slightest of miscalculation or lapse in concentration can be quite dangerous. The most important thing was that our dear friend and brother @Mohamad Anwer despite a few mental and physical scars walked out of this one. Wish a speedy recovery and hope to enjoy your company soon brother. The teamwork, concern & willingness shown by all is what makes this club special. Whether it was ensuring Anwar's safety or recovering the vehicle, everyone just wanted to be there to see it thru. Cant thank enough the leadership of Dr @M.Seidam & @Hisham Masaad , we wouldn't know what to do without both of you. @Waqas Parvez & @Abdelghani u both were fantastic with recovery of the LC from the top of dune, especially @Abdelghani who had to sit inside in the heat to try and steer it with @Hisham Masaad winching it down and @Waqas Parvez anchoring it with his rope from above. @Zed @Imran Kashif @Zixuan Huang - Charlie @Karthik Raptor @Daniel Yang @Amr Aydin thank you all for your concern staying together with Anwar and later assistance with the recovery. Wish you all a good week and hope to see you soon.
  8. @AbdelghaniLooks like you are the designated driver to take dad back home after he exhausts himself on those bowls 😂. Always good to have you with us.
  9. great, i remembered our conversation so tagged you. Good thing @Sayed Bilal didnt have to do 40 drives before finding this information 😂. Good luck Sayed, you will def enjoy the drives more now.
  10. i know that @Imteeaz recently installed a kill switch apparently the only way to fully disable.
  11. This one really is for the posters 😍. Thanks again @Looper, u make us look twice the drivers that we really are. Now i need to do more drives with you. 😃
  12. exceptional leadership from @Hisham Masaad and @Islam Soliman today, thank you guys. U really showed us all how it should be done. the drive had all the makings of Hisham's typical madmax drive until we had the unfortunate event of Ranjan's car breakdown. @Ranjan Das hope its not too much of an issue and you have it up and running in quick time. @Karthik Raptor special thanks to you buddy, we needed all that power of your Jimny today 😂. The rest of the usual suspects, great seeing you again as always.
  13. @Mehmet Volga clearly its not like the stock suspension has ever stopped u 😂. But since u hav decided to upgrade the MRA are a good investment, these things hold their value as in when u decide to rebuild they are just as good as new and if u want to just sell them after a good use & abuse, u wil still be able to recover some of that money spent. stage 1 in my opinion will give you just the lift, bit stiffer than the stock maybe. Bt Like i said its not like the stocks ever stopped u so im sure even with stage1 u will fly 😂
  14. There will come a stable period when you will have replaced everything and then the cycle continues 😂
  15. welcome to the club @Nathan L. Couldnt have picked a better ride than a SWB to have fun in the desert. Good luck and hope to see you soon on one of the drives.
  16. Great videos there @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler, thanks to the Mrs from all of us. Now we owe her a breakfast next time 😁
