People buying 4x4 think they are entitled to drive on sand without an understanding of how vehicle dynamics or weight distribution works in the sand.

Answer: Too fast for crisis-crossing without managing the weight distribution correctly.

Lack of momentum, didn't recognize this, and didn't turn down.

All this, followed by a hard brake meaning sand was heaped round the wheels
