RaYan E
@Rahimdad any advise for Pajero users on what adjustments needs to be done. Specially with climbing issues? Any suggestions that would help and also don't break the bank. hehehe.

Pajero has no climbing issues. @Mels Wolf and @Shiju Manuel are taking their stock 3.5 Pajeros everywhere. 2 "Go as far as you can see; once you get there, you'll be able to see further." RaYan E
@Frederic i have an LWB Pajero 3.5 and done lifts as well with 17 inch rim with KO2 tires. Sometimes I lose a bit power in some high climbs. Any suggestions
Frederic
Pajero has no climbing issues. @Mels Wolf and @Shiju Manuel are taking their stock 3.5 Pajeros everywhere. Same for @Vanessa8580 with 3.8 model. 3 "Go as far as you can see; once you get there, you'll be able to see further."
Vanessa8580
I don't have any climbing issues with my Pajero. I just have to make sure that you have enough momentum before you begin a climb and then the Pajero takes you everywhere.

Sometimes I lose a bit power in some high climbs. Any suggestions 1) Are you using Tiptronic ? 2) Momentum is your friend, start early enough on each climb. 3) Check your tyre pressures. Reduce a bit more if needed before the climb. 4) Slighly steer left-right at the end of the climb (last few meters) and try to find the cleanest path. As you are still Newbie, you will learn all these tricks the coming drives/weeks and might be very surprised with the Pajero 2 2 "Go as far as you can see; once you get there, you'll be able to see further." Mels Wolf
Hi @RaYan E, You can add multi turbo’s or manifold changes to a pajero to give it more power however I’ve noticed a stock 3.5 gets to 99,5% of the locations in the sand of UAE if you use technique and sand reading. Use bowls to climb the bigger dunes as they can be used to keep the momentum, but also try to keep the weight in the car down, if you have a third row remove it as the 35kg makes a difference being behind the rear axle 1
Srikumar
@RaYan E I would suggest to change your tyres as BFG are very heavy for a stock Pajero. Else go down lower on the pressure till about 10 psi. 1
Heisem
@RaYan E As for the tires I can definitely recommend Yokohama Geolandars, had them at 10psi with stock rims. Did you try climbing in first gear then switching to second afterwards?
