DRIVE PLAN

A fast-paced rollercoaster drive in the famous bowls and dunes nearby the Al-Ain Airport! 

This drive is not for the faint hearted !! Expect a fast paced drive through the majestic terrains in surrounding areas of Al Ain Airport, Al Saad.. We will have bowls, sideys, and criss-crossing of dunes at a pace that will surely get your heart racing, if not pounding. So join in for a fun filled Saturday morning in one of the best terrains of UAE.  - and of course - Considering the fantastic weather, we will have a good Coffee Break too ! 

(Wikipedia fact : It is the fifth busiest airport in the UAE !!! ) 

The drive is limited to ONLY 8 cars and Please do not RSVP if you have not driven in last 3 months.

Level:  Intermediate and above  
When: 23 November Saturday
Meeting time:  06:45 AM

Approximate finish time: 10:30 AM
Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.
What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

RECOMENDED OFF-ROAD GEAR:

• Tire deflator & Tire pressure gauge
• Compressor (MANDATORY)
• Walkie-talkie radio (MANDATORY)
• Off-road flag (MANDATORY)
• Shovel, Tow Rope & 2 Shackles
• First-aid kit
• Fire extinguisher

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 8 cars only. 
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

@DP1011 thanks for the drive, excited! Do you have some potential exit points for the drive? I want to plan my logistics for Saturday. The info would be highly appreciated

Hi @Hugo - Like for all drives we do have some potential exits planned - but only in case of exceptions warranting   - My intention is to exit either 24°18'02.4"N 55°32'54.1"E or back to where we enter from  - All depending on how as a convoy we perform. 

However, if you have time bound - commitments , I would recommend you to certainly plan for buffer , - We enter as a one convoy and we exit as a one convoy 😎 - although aimed at 10.30 or slightly earlier .  See you soon , Been long !

hope your week is going well and , like me, you’re also excited for Saturday!

Could you please update the RSVP if there are any changes to the plans?

Also, please make sure to get plenty of rest on Friday night, and remember to have no more than one co-passenger (preferably someone familiar with IM drives). Don’t forget to fill up your fuel tank, and I’ll take care of the coffee! ☕😊. ( I assume no known issues with your machines :) )
