Morning Fewbie Desert Drive - Unspoilt Al Hayer - Abu-Dhabi - 16 Mar 2025

DRIVE DESCRIPTION

In an attempt to find better off-roading pastures, we are heading to Al Hayer, an area often overlooked by off-roaders due to the vicinity to Sweihan. Expecting to find untouched dunes, but it is hard to tell if the vegetation will be an issue.

Hopefully a great morning out with exploration-minded people :)

This was a great morning out !
We were able to keep a steady flow throughout the drive with only a minimal amount of refusals. Very well done by our Fewbies @Shary and @Sam Selim up in the front. The rest of the convoy was made up of very experienced off-roaders and that showed as well. The vegetation was there but I think all in all we dealt with it, and the narrow cordon of higher dunes with steep descents was a great part of the drive.

The sand was very soft in some areas. I was driving at 9psi but some places felt like I was on 18psi 😅

Great support and help from @Aser and @Looper

See you guys soon in the sands again.
