Windscreen Washer Fluid Light is ON

last weekend I was Driving over the Sand Dunes with lot of Bumps due to zillion previous tracks, and my car was jolting harshly, then all of sudden the Washer Fluid warning light came on,

After the Drive, I checked and found that the Fluid was at around 1/2 level, still i filled it to maximum, but the light did not switched off. I tried to hit the bottle to replicate the jerks and jolts it received during the drive, still no result, then I took out the main Switch/Plug from the bottle, remove the negative battery terminal and let it sit there for half an hour, then I plugged these back again, but still the light is on.

Can any one suggest any solution ?

See if washer is still working or not?

If not then see the water jet, hose, or electric connection is loose???????

If it works, then probably you need to get that fault cleared up with computer diagnostic system.

Washer is working perfectly, Checked with Computer Diagnostic Machine, there is no Fault Code appearing.

But Just this annoying light is ON in Speedometer,

Check fuse in a fuse box(under steering)

CHecked the fuse, every thing is fine, i guess it is the switch inside the bottle that is malfunctioning

There is no switch-there is two motor,check they

You might have a faulty device.

Were you able to get the answer for your question yet?

If not, is there a reset / select button for the windshield fluid indicator? It is usually on a controller where you just need to click the "select" and it should reset.

i guess it is the connection or the on-off triger, because the light goes off with some bumps, and after some time agan come back if car is driven in sandy payches with jerks

Were you able to have it fixed then? Also the fluid is constantly full right? I mean there are no leaks on the container.
