mittal
When servicing the my Car the dealers said that even if it is a regular service brakes, bushes and engine oil cap has to be changed. What i feel is that they are just trying to pull out cash, unwanted expense.

kjz
Regular servicing can usually be done at home. Just know what to do, and you should have no problem. Make sure you buy the right supplies.
godric
Well in this economy, we can hardly blame them. Its better to get them done in home or in mechanic shops. Also as Kjz said make sure to check that you have good supplies.
mazharudin
That is why "do it yourself" fixes is also becoming popular. If you do have problems with your car, before taking it to the shop, you might want to ask here instead and we will do what we can to help you.
