  1. Thanks Gaurav and Rahim bhai as well as all those who made us have an entertaining end to 2018 and a fabulous beginning to 2019. Best part for me is that my in-laws did not declare me as an out-law😀.

  6. @hossein let me know if the trick with pulling the ABS fuse works, i might need it in the future on my wife's car If positive, then it can be easily solved by doing some small wiring like in attached pic. The fuse in the wiring diagram that goes into the car's fusebox has to be a busted one of course, otherwise it won't work. You can use an old busted fuse, break it open and solder 2 wires to the blades.

  8. I love 13 to the dozen and that's there for a reason. Well if you are open to buying another dedicated offroader then 3.5 LWB is good enough to start with. If you have no specific need for 4 doors, then see if you can get 3.5 SWB (2 doors) that will be more fun for offroad.

  12. Having a little 1.3 is what makes a jimny a jimny and gives it its plucky little fighter character. It works and people love it and keep buying them so I can’t see them deviating from that formula any time soon but apparently it’s pretty easy to drop a Suzuki B16A into them. Personally I wouldn’t want to go any bigger than that or it will become a little box of death.

  14. Probably this. Might be a little servo motor, or the flap or linkage. They’re incredibly sensitive. If it goes off by even one tooth the calibration gets messed up and it cycles back and forward. Good news is your car is new enough to run a diagnostic scan on the HVAC system so if there is a problem, the computer will tell you exactly where it is. If you have a proper computer. Might be as simple as removing the servo motor, turning it around a bit and screwing it back on. Scan it and see what comes up. I’ve got a copy of Consult software if you’re stuck.

  15. Thanks for all the great advice, i have been looking at both Xterra and Pajero the other are a bit out f my price range as im looking for a newer model car. The problem im finding is that the Xterra doesn't seem that common and there aren't that many available ad the Pajero that's at 13 to the dozen but mostly the 3.5 for now it looks interesting with offroading but i dont know what its like, have only ridden a few times, so the idea is get a "cheap" good car that has the possibility so i can test/learn and then get something better/dedicated if i like it. For that the Pajero 3.5 would work right or is the 3.8 a must? Regards Per
