Glad to see everyone made it through till the end, without much of issues. Few refusals, where you were ready @Ranjan Das with your rope, really thankful for that. Otherwise, we kept moving, pushing pushing till we had a break in between, to have more power for the second half, which again was challenging, but all again managed, and was good fun. Thought at that stage, we are good to go and exit. @Gerrit Bus you have really managed your position very well. Amazing SL, and very good capable driver. Amazing support team @Ranjan Das @JeromeFJ and @Brette thank you for being available whenever required. Great job everyone @Haitham Khattab @Salim Akhtar @Jose Thomas @Tareq Al Turq @Imran Kashif @takeshi sobue, no comments, except good to meet you, and well done👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. While many of us turn to off-roading for the sheer adrenaline that is produced as we tackle ridges and climbs, it is really in the moments between and during that we miss out on when on the "rails of speed" Which is why, drives like these, are so important. They enable us to slow down and truly appreciate what nature creates and nurtures. And there's so much to see and experience. For that alone, thank you for always organizing drives like these @Frederic. It is why I took up off-roading - not for the speed, but for the opportunity to see what's off the road, tucked away between dunes, and off the grid. As @Simon Dawood said to me post, "I've always seen this area on my way to RAK and wanted to explore it," here was our chance to see it. I think we also have beautiful entry from Falaj Al Mualla into those lovely play areas towards the end Capping off the drive for me was the attendance of families. It's so refreshing to see children on these drives. It takes me back to my childhood and my dad, taking us out into the woods and wadis. Remnants of those memories are what laid the seeds for me to take this up. As far as driving goes, no real challenges here. The convoy did excellently and the stucks were normal for a drive like this. Actually, I would say, stucks are all part of it. Rather, if we're not getting stuck, we're not trying hard enough I do want to call out the entire convoy for getting involved with the shoveling and recovery efforts. And for the excellent support down the middle in ensuring that the entire convoy got out of tricky areas, thank you @Vaibhav. It was truly appreciated. Every time, there was an issue, I could see you immediately flanking up to the front to help. Great job! See you all out on the sands, rocks, camel tracks, wadis and mountains soon... [ 🐵 ]

Dear Sand Sailors Thanks for joining in for drive today morning. It was my 1st Intermediate lead and actually first Intermediate drive after almost 7 months - felt so good to be back. Thanks a lot to you all for making it an amazing home coming We had a clear mission - climb as high as we can and repeat it over and over again. And so we did. Overall in little less than 4 hours of drive - we scaled more than 900mtr of climb - yeah boys, that's 110% of Burj Khalifa's ht. And if we consider average ascent of big dunes around 25-30mtr (thats almost the ascent of Faya), over the course of our drive - we scaled around 30 such steep climbs - jumping from one big dune to another. Brilliant work all!!! If not for some vehicle troubles we had, i am sure with this awesome convoy, we would have surely covered 1Km point mark. Perhaps thats the goal for next one. @Morshedi @Imteeaz @Ahmad Shaker - Brilliant drive by you three. Minor refusals are very much acceptable at this level. For 1st/2nd Intermediate drive, it was really nice the way you three handled your vehicle. Ahmad - continuous check on tyre pressure made a big difference in the second half 🤘 @Waqas Parvez @Looper @MMansoor @Zixuan Huang - Charlie - Thanks to you all for executing the role of Platoon leaders to perfection. You all kept convoy togather and patiently supported all the drivers through this treacherous terrain. Charlie - sorry you had to drop out, hope there's no major damage to the vehicle. @Vaibhav thanks for stepping in once Charlie had to exit. @ASAD. @Fabien Monleau i had no visibility however, from what i heard over radio you both had a perfect 10/10 drive today. @Anoop Nair - as always was good to have you in the convoy. Small nails or high dunes there wasnt much that challenged your vehicle or your skill set today. Very nicely driven throughout @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler From being at fag end of convoy to SL, you handled the vehicle to perfection. Your and @Morshedi jeep in my rear view mirror always kept motivating me to push the envelope further. Some stats from our drive today (apart from gap in the begining with Charlie's car and at end with a stuck and engine light issue with MMansoor car, we had a perfect continuous drive). I am delighted to hear the positive feedback from all of you with regards to this drive ! We started off near the camel track of Al Libsa, and to my first surprise the entry I had in mind and did the week prior was blocked due to the camel race that was about to start. I A quick check on my gps made me decide to reroute through the tiny village and so we headed off into the first set of gentle dunes. We snaked our way through the dunes that were mostly covered in bushes and plants. In dune bashing terms we would consider this a bad thing, but in a scenic drive all these things add up to the experience, and the few nice big drops we had were quite enjoyable. The easy-going pace had a kind of a meditive feeling to it, and leading in this terrain in very relaxing. The very few stucks we encountered added to the overall fun of being out together and getting the shovels out. Very good support from all of you who worked as a team. Once we reached the "Namibia Sabkha", which has become my favorite area of the UAE, my initial plan was to start heading towards the mountains and exit somewhere near Adhen. I did that route the week prior but was a bit disappointed with all the construction works going on in that area and I felt it would remove the scenic feeling to it. I decided to loop back to Falaj Al Mualla and the improvised photo session that @munkybizness came up with was a very welcome initiative ! I've seen fantastic pics from all of you in the drive gallery ! We covered in total 50kms in about 3.5hrs, and that is mostly thanks to the mix of farm tracks and dunes. I agree that it's great to see families joining us, and this kind of drive is more suitable to have passengers along. @varunmehndiratta Excellent drive, the switches, Ridge riding and pace was just perfect. Though we had initial hiccup with @Zixuan Huang - Charlie having an issue with his car and sadly ☹️ we had exit him. You made it a point to catch up for the time lost. The convoy was strong from start of the drive with some measurable drives on the belt of each driver we knew it was definitely going to be a fun drive from the start. @varunmehndiratta you kept the momentum going through with changing the positions of each driver which was challenging and fun. @Waqas Parvez and @Looper were superb in supporting the drive. Special mention @MMansoor for taking care of the tail end as sweep. It was good to meet you and drive with you after such a long period. @Ahmad Shaker and @Morshedi good to see you guys once again , You guys are like Jai and Veeru from Sholay (bollywood movie) friends who stick together and share the same passion for Offroading. @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler drove really well with no refusals or stuck giving a feeling like you had 100 intermediate drives under your belt. @Imteeazif I am not wrong this was your first intermediate drive and you handled the beast extremely well which i did mention to you after drive💪. @Anoop Nair Experience speaks for itself and you did it by showing it on the drive. @Fabien Monleau from your 1st intermediate drive to now there has been a massive shift in your skills handling the beauty. @ASAD. Though we had 2 Prado's in the convoy you were number 1 . It was really nice following you and the lines you took were helping me. Hope to see you guys in the sand soon.

@FredericThank you for such a scenic drive. After a year with Carnity i finally got to meet the Legend. Good job from @Simon Dawood as 2nd lead . It has been some time since I have driven in such an intense drive and it definitely made my day. I was exhausted by the end of the drive but in a relaxing way. A big shout out to @MMansoor, @Waqas Parvez & @Zixuan Huang - Charlie for all the support. Sad to see @Zixuan Huang - Charlie exit early. Hope you will be back soon. A great drive by all, and the mid drive was the best when there was complete radio silence yet we all marched stead fast under the leadership of @varunmehndiratta. How to report a minor accident in Dubai Firstly, it is important to carry your driving licence, car registration and insurance details with you. If you don't have it, you may have to visit the police station. For minor incidents where no one is injured, stay calm and move the vehicles to the side of the road if it is safe to do so. If the other driver flees the scene, take down the vehicle's make, model and number plate and alert Dubai Police. Motorists can report a minor accident in Dubai via the Dubai Police mobile app or DubaiNow App. Select the 'report traffic accident' service on the homepage of the apps. Select the number of vehicles involved in the accident. Scan the vehicle plate number and add as many details as possible such as the vehicle plate number and licence. Take a picture of the damaged area of the vehicle through the app. Select who is responsible for the accident, including personal details like their contact number and email. If the drivers involved cannot agree who is to blame, they must call Dubai Police on 999. The police will then determine the liable party. Alternatively, all parties should go to the nearest police station to report the incident. The party found liable will have to pay a fine of Dh520. Also, there are certain ENOC petrol stations where motorists can report an accident in Dubai. These are Al Rasheed Street in Al Mizher, Al Khail Road near exit 44, Arabian Ranches and Al Khail Road near Al Barsha police station. What if additional parties are not involved? Motorists must report an accident in Dubai even if they hit an object as opposed to another car. They can use the above method to lodge an incident via one of the apps or call Dubai Police to get a damage report to submit to their insurance company. How to report a minor accident in Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates (option 1). Motorists in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quawain and Fujairah can use the Ministry of Interior’s smartphone application (MOI UAE) to report an accident. This service is free of charge. They need to register on the app using UAE Pass or with their Emirates ID. After login, the system will confirm the location of the accident through geographical mapping. Enter the vehicles’ details and attach pictures of the damage. Once you submit the accident report, you will receive a confirmation report from the app. The report can then be used for any insurance claim for repair work. Motorists can use the app to issue an accident report against an unknown person for Dh400. The service fee in Sharjah is Dh335, as per the Ministry of Interior website. How to report a minor accident in Sharjah (option 2) Motorists involved in accidents in Sharjah can also register incidents through the Rafid app. After signing up with a phone number the motorist can report a minor accident by using the app to detail the location with vehicle information and pictures of the damage. The fee is Dh400. The motorist can also get a damage report against an unknown party following an accident. For instance, if their vehicle is damaged while parked. The fee is Dh335. For enquiries call Rafid at 80072343. In the event of a major accident it is still important to dial 999.

It was a great show by all, and we learned a bit of criss crossing apart from tackling technical terrain. @TT_Dubai you were fantastic at the 2nd lead position. @Jad Moussalli it was the first time I saw you having a couple of refusals ever, otherwise a great drive. @Emanuel - you had above average stucks for the day, but it is all part of the game. @Jaro Tuzinsky & @Ashutosh Garg you drove well on the day - but I would advise you to practice a bit on the techniques of criss crossing, on the first criss crossing where Jad had a refusals I noticed you came in hot on the other side. @Brett Eicher good to see your red jeep chugging along without any issues on the day. @Batuhan Kulac driving first time with you, great to see a G Wagon in the desert.

It’s not often we get a chance to have a masterclass on technical terrain so thank you @GauravSoni for arranging this. Like Davie mentioned this was a great drive, well planned and a superb learning experience with everyone contributing. We started by witnessing stunning fiery red sunrise and soon after we negotiated some tight bowls. The really tricky stuff came in the second half which witnessed a few refusals and stucks but hey, we now have pics for our #stuckcollection 😀 It is great to see familiar faces at the crack of dawn on a weekend and thank you to @Looper and @Davie Chase for the great support. You guys did most of the work helping guide the refusals. I was just crusin’ behind Gaurav…! A couple of pics in the gallery. Sorry I could not get everyone ! Have a fab rest of weekend to all.

@GauravSoni great drive today had everything that we could have asked for. Really enjoyed the technical terrain was a beautiful route full of twists and turns in some pretty short and tight dunes. This produced a few refusals and stucks which helped us all learn a tremendous amount about safe recoveries. @TT_Dubai you did a fantastic job at second lead which made for a smooth drive for the rest of the convoy which comprised of @Jaro Tuzinsky @Emanuel @Ashutosh Garg @Jad Moussalli @Brett Eicher @Batuhan Kulac. Needless to say that you guys all drove brilliantly through some tuff terrain. well done to each and everyone on the drive it made supporting the drive so much easier. as i said earlier we did have a couple of stucks etc. but that is all part of the fun and the learning. @Looper as always a pleasure to drive with you, brilliant job at CF and appreciate you helping me learn. As always I learnt heaps again today so thank you all very much. Great drive, great company what a way to spend Saturday morning :):):)

Hi, i noticed recently my AC lose power (less cold) when i exceed 140km/hr and 3000rpm. And sometimes my bluetooth also get disconnected along with AC problem. I could reset the problem by turning off and on the engine again. Has anyone experienced this before and what is the possible cause and solution?

Hey @Jerry Han You can check the following thread.. Does the AC come back on as you slow down? try driving at 100 kmph on the highway ( on long drives) and see if you still have the issue.. I have recently experienced that when i drive at speed limits, the AC air is not as cold as it is when i drive at 100- 110..

Hi @Jerry Han Are you sure this only happens when you exceed 140km/h and 3000rpm ? I do not see a specific relationship to speed to see this occuring. Bluetooth getting disconnected along with AC problem sounds a bit like either a battery that is on its way out, or a faulty electrical connection somewhere near the battery or junction box. I would start to check this first.
