  1. Trip report: Thankyou all @Haitham Khattab @Imteeaz @Amr Aydin @Ashutosh Garg @Senthil Kumar @Anoop Nair @Zed @Waqas Parvez @ASAD. for joining me in my exploration of the Majestic dunes of Sweihan. we had a super strong convoy, thus we decided the convoy order during the quick brefing and the drive started around 8 and we went "Ready Set GO!! right from the start.. I was doing the speed and Maneuvers which i felt comfortable with and the you guys responded superbly as expected.. After warming up our engines and waking up to the beautiful climbs and criss crosses near the start point area, we made our way pointing towards Nagra Hill. We met a few convoys on our way and decided to explore the area south of the famous hill and eventually loop back to it. At times, i raised the level of the drive and was so happy to see you guys conquering every dune on the way with a single crest stuck of @ASAD. which was recovered well by the team and no refusals. We reached Nagra through a dirt track as its was risky to take the dunes which were covered with broken fences. It was super fun to find the right line to make our attempt at Climbing the hill from the slip face. We had our heart filled with joy with multiple attempts with @Haitham Khattab being the TOP DOG with @Mario Cornejoa very close second! on another note, it was heartachingly sad to see all the trash/ plastic bottles lying around the area. It just shows how inhumane and uneducated people can be when no one is watching. we looped towards the back side of Nagra to make our attempts on the a beautiful ridge followed by the long climb, meandering through to find ourselves on the Top with a huge drop on the slip face. It was getting late and we decided to exit to the nearest tracks enjoying few last dunes on our way. at this time, @Imteeaz and @Ashutosh Garg has simultaneous pop outs on the front passenger tire which was fixed fast. Brilliant display of skills to recover @Ashutosh Garg X , which got stuck after fixing the Popout by @Waqas Parvez. You passed 100/100 in practical buddy after your recovery class not less than 24 hours before! We made our way to the exit through a long drive on the dirt track to close the drive at 12.15 PM. Key learnings from this drive for all: 1. Always follow the line of the car in front of You. 2. Being intermediates, we need to learn to trust the car in front while maintaining distance to expect the worse. 3. Never self route to the next dunes away from the track taken during looping unless you have clear visibility. 4. Never fight gravity and correct fishtail as soon as it happens. 5. Always carry necessary off-road equipment's like Compressors, proper designed Jacks and tools. Special Shoutout to @Ashutosh Garg for his First IM in such a challenging terrain. We all learn from experience and correct them in next drive. I hope you have emerged wiser!! Thanks @Waqas Parvez for the SL ,@ASAD. for the anchoring the convoy in center with @Mario Cornejo keeping teh convoy intact at sweep. @Amr Aydin @Haitham Khattab @Zed @Anoop Nair @Senthil Kumari am sure you guys enjoyed the drive as i had no sound from your radios! Until Next time! see you all in sand!

  2. Trip report There is always something pulls me back like a magnet to the desert 🌵. Call it adventure ? Camaraderie? challenge ? Relaxation ? … etc or a combination of all of these and those!! I realised today that what sparks an idea 💡 in my mind or triggers an inspiration to the next trip I always find it within a loop we did , a slide we took or a stuck we managed or just simply gazing toward the setting or raising sun .. a growing passion and learning that never ends or more precisely always takes different forms and another level. I was so delighted today to catch up with old and new friends as well as to meet new ones what a pleasure! on time aligned and ready to move after quick briefing. Taking some gentle twisties to welcome our new fewbies after which we pushed the gas a bit till we reached E14 exiting Faqa toward south Faqa and Nahel there after. This particular area seemed untouched by anyone before so we spread our wings tackling all sort of dunes from medium to large ones sliding and crossing to the content of our hearts. Time is like tick tock tick tock eventually finding ourself facing the setting sun behind the dunes We faced few crests and stucks the first one was mine where we could manage all of them with no rope nor winch applying the best of what we have learned so far and we dealt with them in no time in a team work fashion. I always say if the king of sand driving is deflation , the shovel is the queen assisting the self recovery. Enjoying the remaining golden hour on the track and our exit was at Sweihan road Nahel side. @Mohamad Anwer so happy to see you back again in the sand with your new beauty blue. Flawless second lead thanks my friend 🙏 @Glenn W nice to meet you for the first time . It didn’t feel to me like your first Fb drive . Well done 👍 @Udit S also first time we meet . You drove very well and self recovered from that crest nicely. I hope you get the issue of your car done soon . @Pranjal Varsani1 glad meeting you too nice driving can’t recall any issue. Well done @Bjoern we met twice before. Pleasure .awesome seeing you managing your wrangler like a walk in the park . 👍regards to your neighbor 😉 the Pajero pack : @Yaseen87 @Jaro Tuzinsky@Gregory and @Daniel Rodas loved to see you guys unleashing the power of your cars and enjoying the ride . Thanks for all the help too 🙏 @Ignacio Quindós pleasure to see you again after fossil rock 🪨 you rocked today 👍 Last but not the least I would like to thank my wingmen @Fabien Monleau anchoring the middle and @Davie Chase at the tail of the convoy. Both supporting helping and applying the knowledge so we can all get back home safely. till we meet in another inspiration take care and wish you happy new year ahead cheers Seidam

  3. @GauravSoni I just wanted to give you a big shoutout for leading with such incredible confidence in Swehain. The rapid pace displayed is really admirable, I really enjoyed the ride, for good 30 mins at one point we were just driving up the high dunes with high speed switching; you really know how to push that pajero of yours, i have never seen someone drive that:, this could not have happened with the strong convoy we had. @Amr Aydin i was very confident you been behind me you always corrected my line and pushed your machine as much as possible. @Haitham Khattab you do justice driving that powerful tuned machine with lot of control and confidence, it is always great driving with you. @Imteeaz @Ashutosh Garg @Senthil Kumar @Anoop Nair its was great to have you guyz in the convoy you all drove beautiful, you guyz were up for the challenge and never in the drive slowed us. @Zed @Mario Cornejo thank you for taking care of the convoy at the back your presence always is a booster. @ASAD. thank you for been the CF and making sure the guyz in the front are all safe. See you guyz in the sand untill next time.

  5. It was a fantastic opportunity for all of us to refresh and reflect, as many of the recoveries we execute are a result of what we've tried and by learning from others. @Gauravhas been a mentor to all of us, and has taught us not just become an offroader with good drive skills, but much more to find the satisfaction in becoming a complete offroader in any way, from recovering yourself, to leading and guiding others in this magnificent hobby and passion that brings us all together. I thank him with all my heart for being able to bring out the best in all of us. The entire team was looking forward to this experience, and everyone came up with very valuable suggestions and questions. For me, as i am usually the one trying to navigate in the best possible way to AVOID getting my convoy stuck, i had to alter my driving style a little bit and it was great fun crawling through the Lisaili dunes and even in the dark you guys drove superbly. The snacks @Waqas [email protected] came indeed welcome to boost our energy levels after all this hard work 😁 Thanks guys ! See you all soon in the sands again !

  6. @M.Seidam as always, a fantastic drive, thank you much for allowing me to support you and the rest of the convoy, it is always a pleasure to drive with you, learn from you and support you. Your manner has a truly a calming influence over the whole convoy and it is a pleasure to listen to your commentaries The drive had a little bit of everything including our stucks, which is always good as it shows the team that we all get stuck at some point no matter your level, moreover, it is always a great learning opportunity for all in the convoy. Great second lead by @Mohamad Anwer you did an awesome job of moving the convoy slightly left right etc. where needed which kept us all on a safe path from start to finish. The convoy consisted of a fantastic bunch of skilled off-roaders that made the drive pleasurable and entertaining so a big thankyou and well done to @Glenn W @Udit S @Pranjal Varsani1 @Bjoern @Yaseen87@Gregory@Daniel Rodas @Ignacio Quindós @Jaro Tuzinsky you guys made our jobs so much easier by driving flawlessly throughout the drive, I hope you enjoyed it as much a s we did. Lastly @Fabien Monleau thanks for being a superb CF it is always a pleasure to drive with you and good luck to your team this week in the WC football. Hope to see you all in the sand again very soon

  7. What a wonderful drive this morning @GauravSoni faced pace full of adrenaline, cant think of many who would make a pajero scream that much 😅. @Waqas Parvez thank you being the SL, had to be someone special to keep up with Gaurav's pace, fantastic job. @Mario Cornejo thank you for making sure the convoy remained intact. @Ashutosh Garg @Haitham Khattab @Amr Aydin @Imteeaz @Senthil Kumar @Anoop Nair @Zed great driving guys was an absolute pleasure, we had a near perfect drive until the very end when we had a couple of pop-outs. @Ashutosh Garg you did great especially for your first intermediate drive, im sure you will get used to the pace as you drive more at this level. @Zed good to see you back in the sands my friend. 11. Thank you very much @Gaurav and @Frederic for this much needed drive. Over many drives I had done with Carnity, I had amassed a lot of knowledge on how to do the recoveries, but this training was a refresher and acted as a summary of all that I had learnt over time providing structure to the knowledge on recoveries. Further this training provided some more insights and clarified many doubts I had regarding the correct method to be used in recoveries and corrected the perspective I had prior to this. Thank you very much @Waqas Parvez & @ASAD. for the much-needed energy boost before the practical application of the theory we learnt few moments prior.

  12. Hi all! Just a quick note before I jump on a plane. Was great to see so many of the team that I learned off-roading with, and some of the older carnity crew who I learnt from and planted the seed of off roading. Every venture into the desert is a learning one, but this one definitely lots of learning! Thanks to @Gaurav and @Frederic for the course. Thanks to @ASAD. and @Waqas Parvez for the food and the rest of the crew for the questions, comments and discussions. Look forward to being out in the desert again soon. Sorry @Davie Chase I don't remember any football on Saturday

  14. Don’t underestimate what a Pajero can do. You just need to get in sync with it. Carnity will help you on doing just that
