@Rasoul thank you for sharing your experience with us. But we still do not know your drive style and would like to see you on a couple of new drives before we can understand your level and maybe bump you up to Fewbie level. Being and intermediate driver requires a lot of patience and you need at least 30 -35 regular drives to be graded as an intermediate driver. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Nuggets are the small dinky cars like the Nissan Micra, or Toyota Starlet, Daihatsu Charade, etc. Small but with turbo and since they are practically weightless these little things are real quick and fun to drive.

@Ahmed Yassin Pajero is good choice and as @Frederic pointed the 3.8 litre is a better option. Even if you want to take for light off-road and camping trips I would recommend you to join our off-road club for a couple of newbie trips to understand your vehicle and terrain a little better with the threats around so that you can equip yourself properly. All the best. Since you are new here a tip is bargain is normal here, so be prepared to haggle with the seller to get the best deal possible.

No @Rasoul we don't any.

@Ahmed Yassin why is it that you are looking particularly for a Pajero? As per my knowledge the best models are after 2014 where some gearing issues were creased, @Srikumar can explain that better. Like @Frederic said bullbars are a no no with RTA and besides passing issues the police can stop you and give you fine for not being able to see your number plate through the bull bar. Please be specific what kind of mods you're looking for?

@Frederic thank you for sharing your engine rebuilt/replacement in details and sharing with us the outcome which is rare.
Looking forward to riding with you again very soon.

@Ruchit Srivastava your enthusiasm is much appreciated as is your consideration to join us. You can join our off-road club and wait for a Newbie drive to be posted. You can join us on a Newbie drive. Please go through the off-road structure to see how you can progress within the club. My opinion about the Honda Pilot is it can do a good deal on newbie or Fewbie level to start with. But with patience and understanding you will realize that it is not meant for extreme drives.
Please join our off-road club in the club's section and you can post any questions you have regarding off-road.

Wow @Srikumar, I didn't even think we needed these for nobody, but thinking about it makes total sense. After googling a bit I even came across loads of information on this. I am sharing a few pics, but please do keep us posted on the progress.

Differ strokes for different folks. Personally I feel it's fun whether it's a Muscle Car, a ricer or a Nugget. But overall I would like to own a Muscle Car because in UAE you can own it off the shelf with loads of fun and I personally like the growl of a good V8 engine. Ricers an nuggets are supposed to be made and not bought of a showroom floor. With the strict rules in place in UAE it is not possible to build a ricer or a Nugget officially. When building a Ricer or a Nugget there can be mistakes made which means the ownership is not going to be so pleasing and also could end up more expensive and pains taking than a Muscle Car of a showroom floor.
Please share what would be your preference and why?

Trip report - thank you to all participants who did well, most importantly kept their cool and calm and followed instructions to make my day a wonderful one. We started on time with 17 cars.
Upon reaching the deflation point we went through our newbie brief and heart warming to see all participants knew exactly parts of our brief. Everyone has been paying attention and realize every point we have carefully jotted are important to our off road structure.
Started our drive after the convoy numbering was made. A few refusals and stucks kept us all engaged and emphasized one point. If we keep calm and think rationally and listen to instructions we can make it through any terrain together. This was a perfect drive at the right time to do a few small to medium dunes to experience the small thrills and improve ourselves by learning new tricks or putting our briefing to good use.
We later settled near the camel farm in the shade for breakfast where it was clear that everyone felt a little challenged and learned something new. Besides this one thing done differently on this drive was instead of the leader slowing down or stopping, the rest of the convoy had to make an effort to keep up. This was also managed well and my congratulations to everyone for managing well on this trip. I also felt @Emmanuel plight as he was in sweep for a change and I was in the thick of all the action. There was also plenty of food and drinks to go around, my winner would be the idli and sambar, the sandwiches made by @Javier M wife and @Emmanuel sweet little treats.
It was now time for hitting the Fossil Rocks and I was impressed with the smart route selected by @Gaurav bhai which meant we were at the top within no time. I was also impressed with all the first timers to make it to the top on their first attempt. Well done everyone.
Big question now was could we head down the steep way? With a nod of approval from @Emmanuel and @Gaurav bhai the first one down to check and guide everyone properly, we started to brief and check all cars to guide them down. With everyone down safely and time being the essence we moved swiftly back to the road.
One of my most enjoyable experiences due to an amazing bunch of people. I would love to repeat many more such amazing trips with a wonderful bunch of like minded people. Love you all and until next time. Adios.

What can't RTA spot it when go for registration?
@kumara things are changing and they do keep records of the kilometers now. But not stringently followed, but less chance of dealers cheating on you with local cars.

I'll go for the Navister MXT from the fast and the furious.

If money was not an issue I loved my Jeep Commander 5.7 Hemi to no ends. It had an MDS (Multi Displacement System) that use to switch off 4 cylinders when not necessary, but put the pedal to the metal and it used to give all 325 hp with over 500 nm of torque. It was a climber and never said die, unless you're doing a sideys, it used to think you're going to roll over and cut off the power. Annoying and dangerous to loose power and momentum when you are doing sideys. Do a criss cross on the dunes and side airbags used to pop out. Crease a few issues and it was the most luxurious, capable off-road machine for me.

Hi @tamils_siva, when did you change from an Xterra?
You can always try opposite Sharjah Cricket Stadium, behind Yasmeen building for options.
You will have to be more specific as to what you require than just I want to upgrade my FJ Music system as we do not know what system your FJ is running at present. There are many topics with car stereo upgrades from very knowledgeable people, you can find them by a simple search on Carnity and enjoy the content.
