    Hi @H3 Joe .. I see that you have a big time gap in your drives.. if you are getting back on sand after some time, I would advise you to start at 1 level lower (at FB +) that your current rank (IM).

    Ah damn. There are no other drives available unfortunately and I leave Dubai next week 😥. @GauravSoniis it possible that I could be added as an eleventh driver to an FB+ drive by any chance ?

    It's an eventful drive yet we all made to the end.

    Thank you @Hisham Masaad for the drive, and accommodating all of us, @Rob S for CF and Sweep after my rear bumper damage.

    Everybody did pretty well, some refusals/stucks as expected, but at the end they are all learnings.

    @H3 Joe it was a pleasure driving behind you, the lines and approaches you took were really pleasure to eyes. I used to think H3 is a heavy American tank, untill today that you have shown to me the swiftness of H3, and now I found out that I5 H3 can be slightly ligther than my Pathfinder 🤣.

    BTW I suppose yours is the v8 5.3?

    @Zixuan Huang - Charlie mate, no I have the I5 3.7. Alpha model 5.3 weren't available in the UAE other than import.

    Perfect, lets do it!!, just got the winch line replaced after a minor mishap, I got one of the bubba rope lines that terminates directly into a soft shackle, rather than a hook or block, any excuse to try it out, see you tomorrow evening.

    I'd love to know where you got a soft shackle for a winch. My tow hook bolt snapped off, and to be on the safe side, soft shackle seems better. Any suggestions ?

    DIG AND CLAW!!!

    Is this a jeremy clarkson reference? Sounds like it 😂😂😂

    Cheers for the drive mate! @Anish S @Ale Vallecchi

    A bit slow to start, but good observation of some new drivers to fewbie level. Once their skill level was properly known, the pace was picked up.

    I didn't know small dune ridges could be so much fun. So good to practice on. Cheers to everyone who participated making it a memorable drive! Looking forward to the next one

    The data is from July 2020. I only see 6 drives in total with 2 @ newbie . I'm really sorry , but you need to have completed 5 drives at Fewbie level to join a fewbie plus drive .

    Ah that's fair enough, my 5tb and 6th drives I think we're february last year. My bad. Thanks for the heads-up

    Is there a way that I can check the drives I've done ?

    @Joe Biju Joseph I'm really sorry but you do not have the required number of Fewbie level drives to attend this drive. According to the data you have completed 3 fewbie drives. You need to have completed 5 to participate in Fewbie+ drives (the Fewbie + drive being at least your 6th drive)

    But I feel I have done 4 fewbie drives this year alone.

    Drives with:

    @Luca Palanca Falsini

    @Pancho

    @richard

    A full day drive @Ale Vallecchi

    and a couple of fewbie drives last year as well.

    Edit: sorry, not richard, @Wrangeld

  7. Maaaaateee! That drive was absolute bonkers. Truly enjoyed ever second. I had passengers who haven't been to the desert and that drive exceeded theirs and my expectations by a HUGE margin. Thanks to convoy leader @Pancho for picking a fairly technical and exhaustive route, fun to the max, thanks to @Rahimdad for sweeping the convoy and for providing constant tips and tricks to anybody having issues with the drive. The play area bowls were so much fun and honestly allowed me to learn so much about my H3.

    As an added note, the pictures taken by @Mikhail Lukichev are truly truly amazing. Cheers for all the hard work put in by everyone to make this drive worthwhile!

  8. Definitely an exhausting drive from 8 am to almost 6 pm. But truly truly TRULY exhilarating and worth the time. Cheers to @Ale Vallecchi for a beautiful drive through the deserts. Thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I honestly learn so much more about my car by letting my car engine "sing" as @Ale Vallecchi so rightly says it 😂

    Quick inquiry though, does the full day drive count as 2 fewbie drives towards level promotions?

    Cheers!

    Joe

  9. Yup definitely a worthwhile trip and a worthy drive for me especially since its been a while since I've been out to the desert. Was honestly worried about the weight on my H3 with some of the exterior modifications made on it, but still manage to reacquaint myself with the dunes. Cheers to @Ale Vallecchi for leading this drive, with @Jeepie and @Niki Patel coordinating the rest of the group.

    Most of all I'm grateful that this drive was a success as my friend who hadn't been to the desert in almost 10 years sat alongside me and enjoyed herself!

     Cheers guys!
