  1. I had heard about the dunes in Liwa before the drive but to experience it first hand was an experience. The landscape is an art with majestic dunes and deep vertical declines. Right from the foggy morning to the drives on loose sand, the vertical drops and the wrap with the golden hour sunset - thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thanks to @Chaitanya D for the amazing lead - great effort and attention to detail in navigating a safe and fun route - amazing energy!! First drive with @Gaurav - learned a lot on how one plans an approach and exit. And finally for the wonderful group to make this full day drive a memorable one. Looking forward to more such drives.

    True.

Camping 🏕 would be at meeting point as per I remember the post. Please correct if I am wrong.

Yes, they have mentioned, the starting point would be a good camping spot. Thanks.

@Dinesh Kumar A I am thinking to go tomorrow night there but still 50/50 chance of camping or hotel.. tomorrow I will decide.

I guess very limited hotels in vicinity, that's why decided to camp.

  4. Had an amazing drive - Thank you @Foxtrot Oscar and @Jeepie for guiding us through the technical dunes and the ones on the side slopes and the crossings on top of dunes - they were adventurous. Also learnt a lot on shoveling techniques - "Keep hitting the Single spot". This was my first afternoon drive - the setting sun was harsh on some angles but it was completely worth it - the golden hour was picturesque.

Also thank you @Simon Claes - for picking my suction flag pole on our way back. I need to work on a clamp solution for the flag pole.
