  10. Hi @Simon D Got a message 'Waitlist request accepted and after few minutes later 'Removed from attendee'. Am I in or out? Couldn't find my name in the list anyway. I have put waitlist again if that's ok.
  11. Hi @Mohit Gurnani, no worries, you have taken the right decision, get well soon and see you on the next one
  12. Hi @Simon D won’t be able to attend the drive as I’ve been getting neck pain which has worsened. Have a great one!
  13. @Martin M Good morning and sorry for bothering, I was just reading manual for Bronco and it has same " In certain sideways crashes or rollovers, the airbags inflate. " How have you disabled them? or maybe you know smth which I didn't find yet for my car?
  14. Yesterday
  15. @JeromeFJ good evening, will not attend this ride need to finalize airbags details
  16. Yes... before 2021 it was possible to turn off RCS, 2022+ models nothing could find
  17. Will check 1more time @Luke K P The side airbags are on the outermost side of the seat backrests of the front seats. In certain sideways crashes or rollovers, the airbags will be inflated. The airbag was designed to inflate between the door panel and occupant to further enhance the protection provided to occupants in side impact crashes. The Safety Canopy deploys during significant side crashes or when a certain likelihood of a rollover event is detected by the rollover sensor. The Safety Canopy is mounted to the roof side-rail sheet metal, behind the headliner, above each row of seats.
  18. @Zubail have you checked your vehicle manual thoroughly to determine if you need to disable these airbags? Some recent ford models instruction manuals make specific note that side curtain and side impact airbags will NOT deploy in rollover situations.
  19. Hi @Victor Socaciu, thank you for your confirmation. For the radio, we recommend the Motorola/Crony MT777, Crony CN888, or Baofeng UV-5R. I have the Motorola. and the post indicated by Sunil is very valuable information. Worst case, I can lend you one for this first drive. Please have a look at the towing points, sorts of hooks or rings that you should see, in the front and in the back. They will be used in case your car is stuck, to pull you with another car. It is a simple and easy procedure, but can become difficult or dangerous if the car doesn't have proper towing points. Thank you. You can DM me at 05 88 62 09 42 if you have questions.
  20. Why don't you get them to write in an email if the side airbag gets deployed "without an accident" will they cover this in the warranty? Now they will help you with all the support, data, and spec sheet you might need.
  21. I went to Al tayer, they said noway to disable, on precious generations possible with the fuse, here - system is together working with main. I wrote to main Ford to ask them, let's see. But what I found, is description of sand mode, that it's disabling traction control etc. to make driving on sand comfortable in get tested in UAE and created mainly for UAE and desert https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/img/me/en/news/2018/11/19/the-2018-ford-expeditions-sand-mode-secrets--fords-first-full-si.html
  22. Those pictures look incredible!!! Welcome
  23. Add X-terra to your list. Even stock those things are tough yet light making them highly capable in the dunes. Cheap to fix, maintain and to buy. Pajero is everything above just a bit better as Fred mentioned but they are a little bit more expensive Avoid Jeeps.
  24. Hello @Victor Socaciu..have a look at these posts on the carnity portal The Baofeng UV 5R is the most popular one , from dragon mart. but heard there are upgraded ones (UV 5RH , UV 9R etc) on the market now. Make a visit to dragon mart and you should be getting a fair idea
