Gaurav
All you biking experts, which oil or lubrication you use in the bicycles? I'm picking my bike today after 6 months of resting, chain and gear sprocket looks pretty dry and dusted. 2 Let's root for each other & watch each other grow. Srikumar
Add some grease, helps smoothen things out and also prevents rusting 1
desertdude
If you got some lightweight engine oil lying around you can use that in a bind. But spin the tires a bit before usage unless you want oil rooster tails all over the place 1
Jefy
Don’t use grease or oil, this will attract dirt and you’ll get a black heavy chain. Use dry ptfe instead, you can get it at ACE. Put the bike upside down, or hang it. Spray it on the chain and all moving parts, swing a few times the peddle, take an old cloth, spray it again on the chain and swing a few time the peddle while you’re grasping the chain with the cloth. This will clean the chain. From a Dutchie, cycles are in our blood. 2 1
