vasu Posted June 13, 2012 Report Share Posted June 13, 2012 the engine oil is feeling sticky for some reason as this is my usual practice of checking the tyre pressure, engine oil, coolant. i felt that the engine oil is sticky where as the color is some what still the same and didnt find any other problem yet. edison Posted June 20, 2012 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 When engine oil become little used it tend to get sticky first and then start getting darker and about to change. Its absolutely normal behavior. If color isn't turned dark then its safe to use. If still in doubt, better get it changed as it is so cheaper than fuel and cost of damaging the engine you will be better off getting it changed.
