zaki.hussain
The A/C of my 2011 Optima works fine overall, but at times suddenly starts emitting a foul/pungent odour. Has anyone experienced anything like this, please share. Also the A/C doesn't seem to cool as well when the car is at stand still compared to when the car is moving. KiaDxb
the vent of the AC is open or it can be that the AC filer should be changed. either of the two things.
aliasusdxb
i smell the foul odour when i push the car to high RPMs other wise it's fine the same you will find in other cars as well and you understand that the compresser is also connected to the FAN belt possibly due to that bu no issues in the A/C when it's Idle try getting it checked fromt eh service centre
zaki.hussain
Thanks Ali, in fact I have given my car today for 30k service and advised them the issue cause I was also faced with lesser cooling in idle.
aliasusdxb
sure it should be a minor issue of the freon and nothing else

khandelwal
if the AC is serviced in time then a lot of problems can be avoided.
