minor leak can wait?

i have a minor leak in the coolant compartment and i was wondering if i can wait till month end to change or repair it or is it risky

Keep a constant eye of heat gauge and check the coolant reservoir every morning before start and yes it can wait, if its minor. But get it done sooner than latter as if car overheat to full then its a BIG BIG BIG money and time wastage of opening engine head and fixing head gasket. Once full overheat is enoug to create a lak in head gasket.
